Yes, me too. I have a load of direct debits set up on PayPal for various switching offers over the years, most of which have never had a payment taken from them.

I need to go in today and cancel them all. I rarely use PayPal so completely forgot they were all there and all still active.

Did the switch, completed all fine and got the £200 on 10/05.

Just checked my app today and I've been paid another £200…

Same as the 10th. 'Visa Direct Payment' with further details of 'Debit card refund' it's dated 26/05.

Just going to leave it till next week and see what happens. Certainly won't be querying it!

I've had no confirmation of Switch completed. No text or email or anything! All in all a pretty poor experience so far.

It's always best to put a £1 or something in the account you're Switching from, as any money in there usually transfers on the scheduled Switch date. With that and checking the Direct Debits are there, it's probably enough to confirm it was successful.

Just had a text from Barlclays they are aware of their blunder and will be taking the money back tomorrow
