I can see this if I click on the link in the OP, but if I go directly to the Barclays bank site, I can only see the previous £400 switch.

If it's definitely on, (the £200 one) , I could do it. I have another account ready to switch, that has two DDs, one active and one will become active in five days time. I've never been with Barclays before, even though I've had bank accounts for 48 years.

For some reason Barclays aren't advertising it on their website right now, only the £400 Premier account switch (which is still ongoing).

What are you waiting for? 😉 Go for it.

So I can go for it via the link, but not on the website? How did you even find out about it?

I only found out via the £400 Premier account thread as someone posted about it. I then spent 15 minutes on Barclays website trying to find it, with no success.

The link goes to the offer on Barclays website. They just don't have it advertised there. No idea why. 💁‍♂️

If this ever ends up on the Barclays site, I'll go for it. I'm not sure about doing it via a link from here, even though it looks genuine.

It was also advertised in the most recent MSE email newsletter, so I'd be very surprised if it wasn't legitimate. Weird that it's not prominent on Barclay's website though.

It is legitimate, the link goes to Barclays, not a fake website made to look like Barclays. They just have no mention of it anywhere else on the website such as the home page or the page for their Bank Account, which I find very odd.

I can see it on the Barclays website if I search via Google.

    One of the terms is:

Start a full switch by 28 May 2026 including at least two active Direct Debits

My reading of this is that the two direct debits need to be included as part of the switch (i.e. already active on the account that I am closing) rather than separately attaching two direct debits to the Barclays account. Can anyone confirm if this interpretation is correct?

Yes, they need to be set up on the old account before switching.
