It took almost a month for me to receive a text from when I had fulfilled all the criteria.

That's the account setup. Will take a look at sorting the switching over the next few days.

Think I'll pretty much just use this account as a switcher for free bonuses whenever they pop up (and I'm eligible!)

Does anyone know if the £2000 had to be paid in 1 sum, or if this could be multiple transactions adding up to £2000 over the course of the first 30 days? And if you had to have a balance maintained of £2000?

Tells you in the website.

Pay at least £2,000 into your new Barclays Bank Account within 30 days of opening it.

You can do this as a balance transfer when you use the Current Account Switch Service, or in instalments.

I think that's fine. I did pay in the £2,000 in one payment, but I'm sure it doesn't matter how it goes in.
