That's an unfortunate way for you to appreciate the importance of reading and understanding the T&Cs that you have accepted. You were told at the time. Below an extract from the offer terms:

This was the first time that I have applied for anything like this so was not aware that you had to register with VoucherSent I just clicked the link and trusted that it would work. Having now read this whole thread I understand that is not the case. Live and learn!

These Amazon gift card offers seem to come along very regularly. Keep an eye out on here for the next one, though it will more likely be for a £25 or £30 gift card.

would a new email address be good for the next offer

For Info: If anyone is wanting to know their rights on this there's loads of info on AI. For the info below I used the key words on Google "financial Ombudsman bank third party promotions"
Use the enquiry form provided in your initial registration email. Santander's direct customer service often cannot resolve voucher tracking issues because they do not manage the third-party platform. If the partner refuses your claim due to a "tracking error" or "cookie issue" you still complain to Santander (0800 171 2171). Even if they claim "no liability" in their T&Cs, they are responsible for the fairness of their promotions.

I went through the MSE-tracked Santander £100 Amazon.co.uk Gift Card offer for opening an Edge (or Everyday) current account. The T&Cs were clear: “Claim a £100 Amazon.co.uk Gift Card if accepted for a Santander Edge... and complete 30 debit card transactions within 60 days of account opening.”
What I did:
- Applied via MSE affiliate link
- Account approved
- Made 30+ qualifying debit card payments within 60 days
- Account still open/active
What happened next:
- No automatic voucher email/link from VoucherSent
- Called Santander: "Contact VoucherSent, not us"
- VoucherSent: "Submit enquiry with with OLA number, product, app date, affiliate site"
Santander & VoucherSent are just passing the buck. This feels like a classic affiliate scam where the bank promotes but doesn't deliver, and the voucher firm dodges.

What's stopping you from providing the information VoucherSent asked for? They will need something to review and validate your eligibility.

When is a scam invariably not a scam…when it is called one on MSE I suggest?
