Santander Amazon opening offer x2

And the same with me. Have given all of the information that Vouchersent have asked, yet they state that Santander have refused my voucher as I have not met the criteria (Which I had). Suspect that it isn't a scam but as Santander made one almighty !!!!!! up when trying to open this account by opening up 2 accounts (And I know I was not the only one affected) that Santander are now just point blankly refusing to help. Their chat facility is no help either. When you ask for a manager they state that there are no managers in the chat facility!!!. I think this will have to be reported to the Financial ombudsman and see what they think to it?

Applied via MSE affiliate link
Did you register with VoucherSent on their form after clicking on the MSE affiliate link but before opening the Santander account?
If so, what date did you register? Did you register with VoucherSent and open the Santander account in the same browser session with cookies disabled?

Same here, I have completed the required form 4 times as the voucher was not sent. Each one gives an enquiry reference number. Issues raised have been responded to and the I just receive just another email asking me to yet again complete the form.
It's really wearing me down, I'm 80 yrs old in August and have trusted everything with MSE and now feel that the offer is never going to be honoured. Be assured everything is in order, registration confirmed, OLA number from Santander when account opened, well over 30 transactions in the required time scales. Just where does one go when faced with such barriers.?

There is loads of info on this online regarding this. Check previous Ombudsman rulings on Banks responsibility when using third party companies.
Santander's direct customer service often cannot resolve voucher tracking issues because they do not manage the third-party platform. But if the partner refuses your claim due to a "tracking error" or "cookie issue" or other you can still complain to Santander (0800 171 2171). Even if they claim "no liability" in their T&Cs, they are responsible for the fairness of their promotions. Source :(FCA GUIDANCE)
According to the FCA and past Ombudsman rulings Santander and other Banks cannot deal with their customers like this. I am 100% confident I will receive what am due and if it is costing me time and hassle chasing it I will factor that in too.

Has anyone received their £100 Amazon Voucher yet? I wrote a query to Voucher Sent and they said they needed to verify my account opening with Santander. I received that email on the 3rd March, but still haven't received any voucher - does it take a while for them to verify the account? I know the original application said that I would receive the voucher around 12th February - I phoned Santander and they said they knew nothing about the offer.

I did my enquiry to voucher sent a week ago today and have heard nothing back apart from the stock reply about having to verify my details with Santander to see if I met the Ts and Cs, so how long it takes for them to do this and send out the voucher who knows, its not ideal

Thank you. I am just on the phone to Santander & have read them my email that asks them to verify that I opened the account. The adviser has agreed that I've met all the terms & conditions, so I've asked them to log it as a complaint. Watch this space for how long someone takes to get back to me now!!

Thank you for everyone who replied to my initial comment. This is how I've resolved it now:
I phoned Santander and explained that I had met all the criteria and the adviser agreed. I then asked to register it as a complaint. They logged the complaint, then put me straight through to the complaints team. The lady couldn't have been more helpful. I had gone through the correct procedure with 'VoucherSent', who had emailed me to say that they needed to verify with Santander that I'd opened an account. Therefore I said the onus was on Santander to respond to their email to verify the account or the only alternative was to credit me with £100. They have therefore now done this and said that I will receive the credit within 24 hours. The phone call took nearly an hour, but was definitely worth it!
So it you correctly applied through the link on the MSE email & received a confirmation email last November and have not received your voucher, contact 'VoucherSent' to log your complaint, wait for them to reply, and if they say you don't qualify, or your account needs verifying, then phone Santander and register it as a complaint. Santander have to fulfil their side of a promotion, even if it is the fault of the 3rd party that they have chosen who have not fulfilled the deal. Hope this is helpful to others and everyone gets their £100 credit in some form.
