Santander Amazon opening offer x2

Vouchersent seem to have gone very quiet

Do you mean in general or with this specific offer?
They're currently (meant to be) processing gift cards for the offer that succeeded this one.
With this specific offer, from what I can see Santander had to step in and resolve people's issues as VoucherSent were incapable of doing it.

I just spoke to Santander and they all but said they don't care and to jog on. Blamed the entire thing on VoucherSent. When I said I will need to take this to the financial ombudsman the guy on the chat pretty much said "Ok, doubt that will do anything".
This was via an official complaint I sent, and they just pretended they have nothing to do with any of this.

Tried this, they would not budge. Seemed you got lucky with that employee. Who has probably been removed from the phones now.

My understanding from what I've read on here is that Santander are responsible and them outsourcing the running of the offer to VoucherSent doesn't absolve them of this, no matter what is put into the T&Cs.
Your complaint needs to go to their complaints department, open a chat window and request escalation to a formal complaint. When that happens you'll get a complaint reference number. Chat agents do not deal with complaints so don't waste any more of your time with them than you need to.
Let the complaints process take its course and seek a letter of deadlock if they are unprepared to resolve your complaint to your satisfaction so you can take the matter to the FOS.

Sorry, I might not have made myself clear before, this WAS via the complaints department.

OK, if you feel you're getting nowhere with them and you've exhausted the internal complaints procedure, request a letter of deadlock and take it to the FOS.

Either Vouchersent are overwhelmed by the number of queries or they’re hoping everyone will just go away if they don’t respond to customers

As they have just launched another of these offers, I doubt there are an overwhelming number of queries

Seems like Santander haven't cut the cord with VoucherSent. Who knows how many people apply for these offers? The majority of people aren't like us on here, and probably couldn't be bothered.
