Santander Amazon opening offer x2

Good update from myself, after complaining to the CEO via email, I had a call from the exec complaints dept this morning who said they themselves are having issues talking to VoucherSent. They credited my account £100 after confirming I had indeed met the requirements and said if the Amazon voucher comes through, keep that too.
Excellent result. 😀 Persistence pays, well done on going right to the top and making some noise. Enjoy spending your compensation (and hopefully gift card too).

Thank you for this post, will give it a try.
Just wanted to add my experience below:
Attempted to register a new account when the offer was live (last year). Somehow opened 2 accounts, both of which did not come with an OLA number. Closed 1 and kept the other open, made 40 card payments within 10 days of opening. Spoke to Santander over the phone and requested my OLA Number(s) and this was a massive ordeal. Multiple security checks, callbacks and being passed to different departments. Was told they don't supply customers with OLA numbers (lol?) and they've never heard of Vouchersent(?) Eventually got through to a manager who supplied 2 OLA numbers, however couldn't identify which one is linked to which account (the one I closed and the one remaining open).
Submitted these to Vouchersent, they came back saying both are untracked, asked them to check again and explained the ordeal with Santander, they replied (about 20 days later) saying they can now see my account, but no debit card payments have been made. Have since replied asking for a statement or letter of deadlock so I can contact an Ombudsman, and a way to upload my bank statement which shows the transactions. Maybe jumped the gun a little with the deadlock before reading the comments here, but I'm just so tired of it. I'll try phoning Santander but after the last time I'm not holding my breath. Hopefully they're open weekends, how do you find the time to constantly argue with these companies throughout the working week.

You do get OLA numbers for all Santander account applications - though for some types of accounts you can only see the OLA on the application confirmation screen and if you don't manually save it from there, you're up the creek without a paddle. For most account types, you do get an email, may be into your spam folder, with the OLA. It's pretty crucial to make a note of the OLA, and if doing multiple applications to know which OLA belongs to which application. I suppose you have learnt this the hard way, and it's not much help to you now for the accounts you are chasing the cashback for.
The other thing that's critical when using a cashback site, whether for Santander or anything else, is that you clean your cookies before starting the purchase, and that you don't have any browser extensions that block cookies and/or popups. Again, not helping you with your past transactions, but one to remember for the future.
Good luck with sorting out the cashback you are chasing now.3 -
I notice that MSE are describing the latest Santander /Amazon voucher as "an easy free £25"
I still haven't received either the £100 voucher for opening the Current account in November nor the £10 for opening the savings account in December, although I definitely met the criteria, which a helpful member of Santander staff acknowledged during a 1 and a half hour phone call today (30 mins to get through, 60 mins on the phone, on hold for a lot of the time) The matter still isn't resolved. although Santander agreed the vouchers were due.
I noticed from other posts and other sites that other people are having issues.
Maybe I've just been unlucky but it does seem that the process is lacking in transparency and doesn't work as well as it should.

I also haven't received the £10 voucher despite the latest date supposedly being the 7th April

If it all goes according to plan it is "an easy free £25". Problem is that for many people it doesn't go according to plan. Optimise Media (VoucherSent) are terrible at resolving issues, are inefficient, and very customer unfriendly.
I'm surprised that Santander continue to use them, despite them (Santander) having to constantly clean up the mess that VoucherSent continually make with these offers.

Finally got my £100 voucher today. I've been messaging vouchersent weekly for about a month now asking for status updates. Never had any reply from them apart from an automated message when I first raised my query. Customer service definately leaves a lot to be desired, but I've got my voucher now so ultimately I'm happy

Got my voucher today after a lot of back and forth with VoucherSent. Having to communicate via a form box on their website and not directly to an email really makes the communication worse. To cut a long story short, we had a back and forth every step of the way, after requesting a deadlock to escalate to the ombudsman, and VoucherSent's own internal complaint system, I have now received my voucher 3 weeks after that email.
