Mine was a 6 month saver that was maturing in about 3 weeks, so this way I get at least 5 months more than what I would have got. I didn't do the maths but intuition tells me it was net positive.

Thanks for asking the question. I've been wondering myself, but didn't want to look foolish by asking it!
I've a couple of months left of an annual one too, but now someone's answered it's the sixth month one they're renewing it makes sense!

That is also what I intend to do.

I also had to move my payments to Bucks from NatWest.
NatWest not being able to resolve this false scam issue with Bucks is a real worry, seems the security team are not able (or not interested) in resolving false positives.

Yes it makes sense to refresh if you have a 6 month RS, but not if you have a 12 month. I have the latter which ends in December, and simply not worth it for me, better of staying the way it is. To be honest, I wasn't going to renew into the 6 month anyway, there are plenty of yearly offerings with decent rates at the moment.

Halifax 8% RS
Has anyone refreshed their Halifax 8% RS recently?
Any thoughts on when the last save day to do it might be?
