I don't know about others, but the terms for the Regular Saver 6 and the Adcock Regular Saver state: "The maximum amount that can be held in the account is £6,000."

Can I just check, on the master listing for Furness 160th Anniversary account, it says deposits on non working days are credited on the same day. In my experience it is credited the day after the first working day, if even if sent on a weekday. Standing orders I sent on Monday were credited on Tuesday.

Furness BS's Ts&Cs state:
I did query the discrepancy with them a couple of times and they've said their systems use two dates, the date received and the date available to use. Statements show the date available to use but interest is calculated from the date received.
Therefore if you send funds to a Furness account on Monday it shall show on your statement as Tuesday but begin earning interest from the Monday.

Incoming Principality offerings in their system:
- 6 Month Regular Saver 5
- Regular Saver Bond 37
- Maturity Winter Regular Saver Bond
- 2 Year Healthy Habits Saver Bond
Hopefully next week we can discover the rates and when they can be opened.

The balance over that figure earns 2.5%, not the whole balance.

Your experience is exactly the same as mine.

That's a horribly complicated way of showing things, why wouldn't you have your system show the correct date from which it's earning interest? Weird.

Furness is not nearly alone in having transactions that are posted on one date, but start earning interest on another. Often it is the other way around (interest earned from a later date).
