Morning Dizzycap!
No, this third email simply told me that my account was open. The second email I had gave me a user ID (6 digits), the sort code and account number to pay into, plus a temporary reference in order to make my payment which it clearly stated was purely for the initial payment. It then said they would put more information in the post.
I was able to log in using the user ID and the password I set up in my application.
xx

I have received my log in details, which work, and details for the initial payment. They advise that the initial payment should not be made until the next day, and that there will be a letter in the post once they have received the initial payment. This letter will contain the actual account number to be used as a Reference for subsequent deposits.
Opening this account as a new member is quite a lengthy palaver. They are using the same software as Principality but have more admin around it. Maturity processing might be fun……..2 -
Things are beginning to start moving again on the RS scene.
In the last week I have opened the Dudley BS Bridgnorth Lions Club RS, also applied for the Teachers BS Everyone RS at a very nice 6%.
Now waiting for the Principality RSB Issue 38 to become available, Nothing spectacular at 5% but it's fixed and PBS accounts are very easy to open and manage, with efficient and reliable maturity process.
Edited to add:- PBS RSB38 now available online

Re Principality just had a look seems the 6 Month Rs has gone from their offering

Principality
Suspect they didn't have a great uptake on the 6 month account, probably have better uptake on the 1 yr, albeit I'm not bothering with this one, below my threshold at the moment.0 -
I've only had two emails…. an initial "confirmation of registration", then a "registration successful" with my login details, activation key, and how to make my first deposit. No confirmation that my account is actually open… did you receive the third email before you made your first deposit?
Yes, it feels rather more high-maintenance than other accounts - for 6.5% it's worth the effort though. And hopefully now I'm a member it'll be easier to open accounts with them in the future.

Principality 1 Year Regular Saver Bond @ 5% is now available - Sorry if already mentioned.
6 month RS NLA
1 Year RS bond @ 4.75% NLA
Teachers BS: For anyone who has still not heard from the TBS regarding their RS application. I received a call from Teachers BS this morning. Some RS applications have got stuck in the system and they can't presently access the application info. They're working on it and will be calling me back some time today with an update to my own applications. Although it maybe a faff, Imho 6.5% & 6% RS are definitely worth the effort to obtain even with slight initial glitches attached (Who remembers Monmouth BS and all the App glitches?) and certainly in the present new RS averaging 4.8% - 5% savings climate.

Small point, but the 1 year RS bond (issue 37) which is now NLA was only 4.75%. I have asked for mine to be closed.

Fat fingers and now corrected 😉. I have the 1 year RS bond issue 36 @4.85%, but I didn't touch issue 37 as it wasn't an appealing rate for me and I could utilise the funds elsewhere or leave funds in my Cahoot accounts.
