Oops! Guilty of jumping the gun too! It's odd that the CS lady didn't mention it when I suggested I'd be attempting to fund after I finished the conversation!

Has anyone had issues with returned payments from any of their Principality RS's? I've just had all my monthly SO payments returned. Principality online account banner states on all my savings - 'You can't make payments into your account at the moment. Please contact us.' ???

Does anyone ever give any thought/worry to how complex it will be for next of kin or executor to deal with every one of the large number of institutions where we have these accounts, and whether it would cost more (and hence lose the worth of all interest gained by our myriad money transfers) in executors/solicitors fees to do probate & get copy statements going back however far they deem necessary to trawl back and to fathom all the firm-to-firm money transfers.
Strategy to help those left behind to deal with this? Do you at least keep a spreadsheet you've told somebody about, plus the computer password for access? I've done that, but rely on that somebody remembering to do it, or not being curled in a heap. Can I do more?
I suppose it won't bother us when the time comes, we won't be here.
But every man and his dog wants a piece when someone has died, every little thing is charged for, everyone wants a death cert and when supplied they ignore it until you chase, then they say oh we need a certified copy by a solicitor, who charge as much or more than an official certificate, and it takes ages to gather statements etc.

Mine all went through and credited to my accounts on Monday, no problem.

Same here.1 -
Yes. A few months ago I did start a spreadsheet with information on the ridiculous number of savings accounts (and don't even start on the many different ways I fund them!), but it didn't get finished and it's mostly out of date now, due to the nature of most of the RS accounts. My other spreadsheet, which I used to monitor and maintain said accounts wouldn't make sense — not even to me most days.
And now I'm feeling even more worried (and guilty of causing potential stress at a very stressful time)!1 -
Yep, thats why I give an updated list every so often to my solicitors.

No issues for me. All mine went through as usual.

Haven't tried funding mine this month yet - you reminded me. However they seem to be experiencing their OTP issue again - not receiving one so can't login - or some other IT issue
