I think it's likely that Cooperative won't be increasing their flexible rate? It's remained stable at 7% through successive base rate cuts.
For the same reason, I wasn't surprised Nationwide has stayed at 6.5%.
Would be nice if Natwest/RBS raised their rates again after their previous big drop! Not holding my breath though…

Dont do it! You log in on the old one and it makes you go to the new one then you have to log in again!!

Never be at the front of the queue for any software update - you're effectively a beta-tester for someone else's problem. General exception to this rule around security updates.

It sounds like the way they word it led people to believe there was no choice, thereby making them unwilling beta testers.
Those of us who are invited later have the experience of others with which to know we can do nothing for a period of time.2 -
Skipton
So is there in the end an option to return to the old app, the new one is terrible to use.
I was using the old one until they told me it's either the by invite only one or none at all so had no other choice to move.

Question for regular saver folks: What's your current "target rate"?
For the last few years, it's been 5.0% for me. Having done some calculations based on the budget, I've changed this to 7.0% (but with an eye on accounts with favourable terms from 6.5%).

Depending on cash flow available and EA rates. 5.5% if excess cash otherwise 6%+

Nothing wrong with letting others find the bugs, until everyone follows the same advice. Classic free-rider problem.

As I can't find anything wrong with the new Skipton app what problems are others facing?
Works perfectly for me.
