Skipton BS
Thanks, wish I'd been as circumspect.

Your correct. The issue7 Skipton isn't new today I opened one at end of October at 5.75% and it's now showing as 6%.

Apologies, ignore the info below as I made incorrect assumption their about RS.
Look like Skipton will update their Tracker savings product on Monday 16th November.Bank of England Base Rate changeWhen will my savings rate change on my Base Rate Tracker? We will be updating rates on the Tracker savings products on Monday 16 November, in line with the terms and conditions.8 -
Don’t the T&C say within 14 days? So Skipton are pushing it pretty much as far as they can, while I think they’ve done it within a few days in the past. And further rises are optional given the changed terms on the Issue 7 product. You’d expect to have to wait for the other variable rate accounts (which I assume they will be doing for a popular feeder account here, as the Member Easy Access Saver now pays 0.01% less than the latest Bonus Saver which is open to everyone.)

Actually, you are right. I made wrong assumption of their Regular Saver after checking with Skipton as I had their previous description saved "The rate of interest is guaranteed to track 2.00% above the Bank of England Base Rate for 12 months".

SKIPTON RS
I'm still on Issue 5 which does have rate of interest guaranteed to track 2% above BoE base rate. Glad that this has been mentioned as I've gone in and tidied up accounts, closing one with balance to another easy access.0 -
SKIPTON RS
Be great if the (new, improved, invite-only) Skipton app actually told you which issue of the RS you were holding.

Skipton
My Issue 5 Regular Saver, which the T&Cs say tracks the BoE, hasn't increased yet.
My Issue 7, which the T&Cs doesn't say tracks the BoE, has increased.
I also have a Flexible ISA which tracks the BoE at +0.32% hasn't gone up yet.
This is in the new Invite App
I consider myself to be a male feminist. Is that allowed?2 -
Skipton
I didn't think you were allowed more than one Regular Saver regardless of issue number.

I didn't think so either 😂
