The Furness BS App shows an apparent 'Insecure Network' error when trying to log in. The App requires a manual update before it functions as usual 😉.

Mine's still broke after update, did you uninstall/reinstall? Android?

Mine giving an error in iOS. Website login working fine.

Furness App
it will need an update as they’ve had to renew the SSL certificate.1 -
No, I just updated it via the Apple Store early this morning after the 'network security' message and then the updated Furness BS App worked fine with full access. I've just checked it again now and it's still working ok.
Maybe for Android it's a case of uninstall & reinstall?

for iOS users, do the following.
- Go into App Store and search for the Furness App.
- It may look up to date with the option to ‘open’ but click on the heading ‘Furness’ rather than ‘open’
- You should now see an option to update which will pull in a new SSL.
Mine now working again.

BOS RS Renewal
That's good to know. Thanks to you and others for pointing this out.
I'd previously read that BOS and Lloyds enforced the 12 month rule if the a/c was closed rather than renewed.

I just did a google search on my phone and was taken to the App Store where the Furness BS update button was shown. Done and dusted in a minute. In fact, there have been a few banking Apps which haven't surprising auto updated recently and have had to be updated manually - Barclays, Lloyds, Furness, and Monbs BS all come to mind? However, I also have the AVG moblie App along with a free VPN which sometimes has a habit of needing uninstalling and reinstalling as it blocks so many potential wifi / online hazzards in a single day.
Personally, I always check weekly for any banking app updates, obviously for security reasons and any potential come back if the latest App verion isn't installed on my phone and it should get hacked 😮
