Octopus Fixed Tariffs 2026

If the reduction of 3.51p for electricity and 0.33p for gas are correct, the 12M Nov 2025 v3 fix should be 20.74p per unit and 4.72p respectively from 1st April.

I'm guessing chrisr21's screen is showing prices for octopus flexible not a fixed tariff. Watch you have exit fees there Chris.

Electricity SC look like Mersey/North Wales region.

No, it’s the 12 month fixed option I’m quoting the fees for. My current fix ends in under 50 days so exit fees irrelevant in this case.
That would probably be correct yes as I’m in Widnes.

Thanks. It's the regional variation that caught me out there, quite a bit higher than v7 would be here. Worth shopping around I would think. It's hard to think we will see anything like novV3/febV6 prices from Octopus for a while, who knows.

I fall into North Wales and Merseyside according to that map.
Some difference in standing charges though that for a 30 min drive away.

Possibly from a fixed rate coming to an end email, defaulting onto what will be the price cap from 1 April? Of course they should not actually be charging an exit fee if the customer is within the last 49 days.
