See Octopus 12M Fixed Feb 2026 V6
It's more interesting.... Might be better than some are on.
Doesn't quite trump Nov3 but closer.

Octopus 12M Fixed February 2026 v6
Quick glance looks cheapest E unit rate since Octopus 12M Fixed April 2025 v3 - North West, cheapest gas unit rate maybe since before then.

the unit rate on that current fix for the gas is almost identical to November3 for me - SC is higher though.

Elec unit cost half a penny or so cheaper here, SC about three quarters of a penny up, so worth doing.
Don’t want to switch the gas though, both unit and SC up vs Nov 25 v3 - have those who have switched only one fuel in the past by email explicitly asked to leave the other unchanged, or not mentioned it?

I've never transferred just one fuel to another tariff via email with Octopus, I always phoned.
But when I phoned, I made it very clear what I was wanting, telling them clearly which fuel to transfer to another tariff (specifying the tariff I wanted), and which fuel to remain on the existing tariff. If you have an E7 meter but are currently taking advantage of a flat rate, then remind them you want that to continue (assuming you do)
Then check the email confirmation they send you carefully to ensure it reflects what you wanted.

They may also switch you back to std direct debit rather than variable, requiring another phone call to fix it… as it happens 2p a day worse off on latest version, still fixed until April. Latest, Octopus are going to offer lower s/c option sometime soon, as a low user this should work for me, hopefully.

When I've switched (I have this time) check your new unit rates in the app/web and if they have not interpreted your request then another email/phonecall should get it fixed. It's worth also noting in any communication if you want it to take effect immediately.

Six tariffs so far in a 28 day month!
Why not just offer the average at the end of each month?
