    I'll be sticking on my current fix until it finishes in the winter I suspect, with it's rather nice 4.73p unit rate…

    What a flex!

    But the point is you should not consider one part of a tariff in isolation.

    I currently pay about 20% more in unit cost, but I suspect I have a significantly lower SC than you pay, (but not as low as 5-6 ppd) and that for my usage works out more favourable than the lower unit rate.. YMMV.

    But with energy prices having risen this year, why would you even consider dumping an existing fix early, unless you didn't pick wisely originally.
