Finally, it's gone from the forum highlights page!!
I'll wait until it's no longer fresh in people's minds before I wear it in public.
I'd be mortified to be recognised.😱
How many people will have viewed that page?
I thought this little crafty-corner of the internet would be 'safe' from mass reach.
I now now it isn't!!
How's it going, AKA, Nutwatch? - 12 month spends to date = 3.24% of current retirement "pot" (as at end December 2025)1 -
@ Sea_shell - it is a bit unnerving that you could end up recognised by random because they have used your photo as advertisement and is a bit of a shame. To be fair though we all want to be incognito so I doubt anyone would say anything as then they would be ‘recognised’ too :)
Maybe there is a function to say you don’t want your photo used?

I'm betting it's embedded in the T&C's of the forum that ANY posted content can be published for marketing purposes.
The reach of the MSE forum probably runs to millions of clicks per day, not everyone will be an active poster, or even registered.
It's publicly viewable by anyone and everyone!!😱. You don't need a log-in.
It's something that is easy to forget, when you've been here a while.
Home made clothing is so personal, unless done exactly to a published pattern, using the same yarn/material, as to make it generic.
So, I won't be posting any more photos of wearables, or any gifts I might make for family. ☹️

had some wool left over from the (matching) throw that I posted a while back that I had finished. So I have made a matching cushion - I worked out how to do it by myself so I am quite pleased with it :) did one side one colour combo and the other side the other colour combo.

And finally … tada
6 months in the stitching, now to wash, press, and decide how to present it: frame, canvas or cushion. I have loved this design. I love her use of colours.
