    Wow, that is stunning.

I agree about making it a wall hanging, it is a piece of art.

Might be worth having it professionally framed. That will cost a few £££, but might be worth it.

You can get special "art" glass that is anti-reflective and UV resistant. Will preserve it that way (no dust, fading etc)

Here, I've finished another cardigan, this time using that Hexigon method. It was more as a practice, so now need to find a yarn to make a "best" one. Ooooh the choice!!!!!

I've also done lots of little gifts for Random Acts of Crochet Kindness, which I need to hide.

DH also says that he'd like a cardigan too. He's slim, but tall, with long arms, so that may take some time.

But first, I will crack on with the squares for the blanket I mentioned up thread (those 6 colours), 48 squares to do, about 10 done already.

@Charley27 I think it would be wasted as a cushion. It's so beautiful I think you should display all of it on the front. I suppose you could make a very big cushion but better as a hanging so that you can see it in all it's glory. It is beautiful

Thank you so much for all the lovely comments. As it’s a gift, I think you’re right. I will frame it so all the details can be hopefully enjoyed.

I've been hiding a few "Random Acts of Crochet Kindness", and a couple of them have posted up their findings.

I've made them smile, which makes me smile.

    Hi everyone,

    You’ve all been busy!

Love the cushion @Auti really great that you could adapt the pattern to suit - top marks!

The stitching is fab @Charly27 and agree about framing it rather than a cushion x

Oh I love RACK @Sea_Shell well done do you belong to the FB group?

I’ve been busy knitting my new postbox topper for May. It’s based on the maypole mice by Alan Dart. I got the pattern booklet from bay of E and did 5 mice. The maypole is a wooden spoon handle that DH screwed into a piece of wood (from his collection of random pieces of wood in the garage 🙄) I covered the ‘pole’ in double sided tape and wound white ribbon around it. I made a pole topper out of polymer clay and attached the ribbons to the mice by stitching onto their hands. I’m a little worried they won’t stay fully upright as the postbox is 5’ high and it’s quite windy here, but not a lot I can do. Just pray for some better weather to come this month!

I’m off to put it in place shortly 😊

They remind me of the mice from the Marvelous Mechanical Mouse Organ !!!

    "Come on Charlie Mouse"

    "Breadcrumbs and Butter beans"

    Gotta love Bagpuss.

They remind me of the mice in the windmill in old Amsterdam. They have so much character. Well done.

    @Coxy11 they are beyond cute.

I’ve bought a frame using DH’s staff discount and I’m going to try the pinning technique rather than the lacing I usually do. https://www.caterpillarcrossstitch.com/blogs/blog/how-to-frame-your-finished-cross-stitch?srsltid=AfmBOor5CA02YLHjUzOsku257cXbrNPh_jMp1kkZsGlfVnUwbdhAoWkj
I’ve got my first chain on my crochet hook and I’m now going to try my first stitches. As well as that my BF’s daughter is getting married on 4th July so I dug this kit out called ‘I Do’ which I’ve stitched before. I bought 2 but the other couple sadly didn’t make it to their first anniversary so I’m glad I didn’t use it. Trust me no one wants to be reminded they got divorced! It’s mostly letters and a limited palette so hopeful it’ll stitch up quickly.
