Love the painting by numbers @Soontobeoap - I would never know - it’s quite Banksy. There’s a local craft group I’m hoping to get to which meets once a month in our local lounge bar. They do various crafting including paint by numbers so I may be joining you lol!!

Lovely design @Charly27 - how sad about the second couple 😢

@Soontobeoap that is beautiful you’d never guess it was painting by numbers. No wonder you’re proud of it, quite rightly so.

    Trying a new stitch pattern.

Thought I'd cracked "corner to corner" only to realise that it's oblong, not square ☹️🤔

Ended up 8 blocks by 7...

Oh well, better luck next time.

    Hi all,

That looks lovely @Sea_Shell - I've been studying the photo trying to work out how you made it. Looks quite complex!

The latest post box topper has had a comment on the village WA group 🤗 Not sure what to make next - maybe a tennis/Wimbledon themed topper. I do have to make a new base though as the current one is looking mis-shapen.

@Sea_Shell you’re clearly a fast learner those instructions still look complex but a lovely result. Glad the ‘topper’ has gone down well in the village @Coxy11.

Cross stitch framed and ready to be gifted on Friday. Felt like it was simply than the lacing method and I only needed help from DH setting the little bendy metal pins further back towards the edge of the frame so it could take the original backing board. Have more left for other projects too as I ordered A1.

Think I love the fox best.

It's stunning. Looks even better with the frame which you wouldn't think possible.

Would love to join this group as I enjoy my crafting although I haven't really done much in the last 18 months.

Previously I have sewn, crocheted, knitted, stamped, paper crafted, cross stitched, and macramed.

I only tend to sew, crochet and cross stitch now with the occasional knitting.

I did some sewing for my OH last month and enjoyed it although I did make a couple of mistakes but rectified easily enough. Within the past 2 weeks I have picked up my crochet and have started a lap blanket. My cross stitch I haven't touched as yet but have either 5 or 6 projects that I need to finish all at various stages.

I couldn't log into my previous account so have started this new one today.

You all have lovely projects that have both been completed and in progress and should all be very proud of yourselves.

    Saw this beautiful yarn today…

    Couldn't resist 😉

Will probably make a summer top.

I bought 3 ... You know, just in case.

Thanks for the instructions @Sea_Shell I will have a go!! Love the new yarn 🧶 😊

The framed piece looks fantastic @Charly27 - I agree about the fox 🦊

Welcome @Chunkymonkey7871 great to have you with us. Please share details of your makes and WIPs x

I had a free day today so cut out a couple of squares of fabric to make a project. Despite following the tutorial it’s gone wrong and is mis-shapen. This is why I lose confidence - I measured, pressed and really took my time but it still went wrong 😭

Am at yoga later so that will calm me!
