It’s not fair is it Bubbs 😂🥴😯 a few maltesers and we expect gains. Some folks can eat boxes and not put weight on. I’d been really on the ball yesterday until ds brought home made brownie out and I about an inch square piece….bet that’s undone my good work.

My ds was in Canterbury last week. He stayed at the travel lodge for something like £30 a night including parking. He’d been back and forth to his new house but spent a day as a tourist around the town. We’ve been several times before but have always been on a tight time scale.

As for cooking duck. There’s a great duck in cherry sauce in one of the old sw magazines or books. I’ve been looking for it but can’t find it. I score the fat and cook it fat side down in a dry frying pan….when it looks as though it’s cooked half way through I turn it over. Some folk like it rare but I prefer it more well done. Once it’s cooked to my liking I take the skin off and Pat any excess fat with kitchen roll.

I just googled Slimming World duck with cherry sauce and the recipe came up so if you wanted to do it then that's the way to go!

We had the frozen sliced duck with vegetables. It was nice but not as nice as cooking it myself - it was a bit overdone compared with how we like it but it was worth a try.

I know what you mean @maman when you say it puts you all out when you go shopping on a different day - it's the same for me! Soon get back on track though.
