Yesterdays meal was utterly divine and I ate far more than I should have. Even needed a snooze late afternoon..

I’ve weighed in this morning with a 0.2kg loss. Very happy with that given the meal yesterday.

Today has been the usual yog/fruit for breakfast, a HEb sandwich of bacon medallions, lettuce and tomato with a squirt of Mayo. for lunch and tea will be a jacket spud with tuna, salad and HE cheese. Snacks (if any) will be grapes, frozen cherries and a lindor ball (last one left from my birthday)

It’s been a beautiful sunny day here but it’s turning cold now and we might have a fire this evening. Hubby has been busy and the log store is bursting with 2 tonnes of hardwood logs that we have had delivered for winter. They drop them off in large bags and then they need wheelbarrowing to the store where he stacks them in size order in the various racks. It’s really hard work and we are both shattered - and I only started helping when I got home. Anyway, done now and we shall be as warm as toast until the early part of next year (depending how much we burn/how old it gets)

Swips are worth it if you enjoyed them. That's what they're for. 😋

Yes @Jellybaby ,it's easy to spend time and money on the net. I love my heated throw though but don't need it yet. I took a cardigan in my bag today but didn't need it.

Well done on getting a small loss despite the meal @Matron_Midge .👍

    £8 is exorbitant for parking @Coxy11 , especially when you're volunteering. ☹️

Are you saving swips @peony40 ?🤔

We've had a lovely day and just got home. Lunch was a JP with cheese and beans so only swips would have been in some vinaigrette on the salad. We'll have a HM ready meal from the freezer later but I will have a drink with DH to celebrate his birthday. Back on plan properly tomorrow.

    Evening all 😁

Peony my first thought was that's not much food, but then i am a big eater 🤣 don;t go hungry!

Maman Happy Birthday to your DH.

MM , my sister said when she moved, that's the thing she didn't miss, spliiting and humping wood and coal after her DH passed away, but she had no choice as no central heating, well no gas or oil. Wll done on your loss 👏mind it don't bite you on the bum next week, hopefully not.

    Food today

Lunch was , 1/4 calcium. 4 syns for the crackerbread

Tea was chicken and mushroom pie, fibre and 1 sv for gravy. It's not actually a whole fibre but just over half 30g the wrap weighed and a full one is 50g

@bubbs - I am being careful, I’ve been bitten too many times with complacency - you know thinking I get a loss last week,I’ll do it again kind of thing

I can imagine it was very hard for your sister. We are lucky to have central heating too. It only comes on in a morning to warm up the house before we get off to work and in the evening, 1st one home lights the fire. We are very blessed to have the choice though.

Jack pot scoffed, feet up with book (MJ arlidge’s Hide and seek) and a cuppa. No fire, decided we were warm enough after oven had been on for the spuds.
