Oh my @bubbs thats too hot!

Glad the registrar was happy @joedenise x

We had the tomatoes and lettuce as part of our dinner. Also some cucumber from a neighbour and some beetroot from allotment last week. Love it! I need to think of what to do with the enormous courgette/marrow. It’s giving me Deirdre Barlow vibes.

How about stuffed marrow @Coxy11? you can either halve t and stuff or cut into rings and stuff. Not. had marrow for years - you just don't see them in the shops any more.

Hope your insoles get sorted ok @bubbs. Glad my place doesn't get that hot; only about 25 in my living room, although was up to about 30 outside earlier.

🤞 the new orthotics help @bubbs . You seem to be full of aches and pains.🤗

@Coxy11 the easiest way to 'stuff' a marrow is to cut into rings and microwave to cook/soften. Then I put the rings into an oven proof dish (tight fit is best) and then spoon in Bolognese sauce or savoury mince. Then I put grated cheese on top and grill or finish off in the oven.

It's not as time consuming as it sounds if I have preprepared mince in the freezer.

I haven't had it for ages but was a regular meal when the girls were at home.
