welcome home maman and happy hols in the “cell” coxy. Glad your BIL is feeling a little brighter too Bubbs.

I didn’t watch the football due to its timing but I’m very glad they won. I think they’ll need to step it up against Norway though on Saturday.

I’ve weighed in this morning and got a 0.6kg loss. That has made up for my little blip last week.

It appears the 10%fat yogurt agrees with me. I’ve been having it every day with fruit for my breakfast and the fat really keeps me full until lunch.

Chicken pasta salad for lunch and for tea we are having jacket spuds with tuna, HE cheese and baked beans. Will also have pickled beetroot and a nectarine afterwards.

Nothing much that will derail me this week apart from an open house 1st birthday party for my god daughters little one so I’ll call when it’s not a meal time and ignore the buffet cos my bestie will have made all manner of tasty morsels - she is an amazing cook but nothing ever fits in with SW unless I eat the parsley garnish 🤣

    Keep going everyone xx

Evening all from my basement prison(!),

I realised at 1am Cyprus time that the iPlayer and BBC Sounds and Radio5Live do not work outside the UK, so I gave up on being able to watch or listen to the match. Just as well really given the push back on the kick off time. Glad we won and will look forward to watching on playback sometime next week! I will be in the air whilst the England/Norway game is on!

Despite me telling Stepmum that I want to have a relaxing week and just to drop me in Paphos harbour etc for the day, she is insisting that she wants to accompany me everywhere. Their house is atop a large hill with a steep downhill to the local village square so I might be able to escape there one day. They also have a communal pool on their complex so I'm hoping to spend some time there too. No busses to/from their village.

Today we went for a drive along the coastal road and then to the vets where she spent Euro488 on cat flea collars (after a 20% discount…) then we had a late lunch of sea bream, salad and fries. This was at 4pm. DDad and I were being picked up by his neighbour to go to a Tina Turner tribute act at the local amphitheatre at 6.40pm and we didn't get home until 6pm. I now have a niggling headache so hoping to sleep it off. Tomorrow Stepmum and I are going swimming in the sea - she wants to go 'early' so we'll see if we can get out of the house. Didn't leave until 11.30am today due to cats needing feeding, playing with and general faffing about.

Well done to @Matron_Midge and @beanielou on your losses. Did you re-join and reset your target @beanielou?

Afternoon all, another hot day but doesn't feel quite as humid thankfully. There's also a bit of breeze which is also making it feel cooler than it really is.

Well done @Matron_Midge and @beanielou on your losses. I was all wondering whether you had rejoined or just carried on @beanielou.

More shopping this morning - it's never ending but can't do masses as fridge isn't as big as my last one and doesn't hold as much without cramming it in which then in turn means stuff doesn't have air cirulating round it so it doesn't keep as well.

As expected we didn't need a full meal last night so just had a couple of Ryvita with some pate followed by fruit and yoghurt.

    Today's plan:

    B - mushroom omelette - P; S
    L - chicken fajitas - Fibre, P; S; 1.5
    D - sweet and sour pork, rice - P; S; F

    Calcium - milk
    Fibre - SW wrap
Swips - Sweet chilli sauce 1.5

    Have a good day everyone.

I thought you were going to say that you were going shopping more often to enjoy the air con @bubbs !🤣

I'm pleased we went for a much bigger fridge when we had the new kitchen @joedenise . It's a godsend in weather like this.

You could be right about enjoying last month's book sitting on the sun lounger. 😁 I read 7 books while we were away but the book club one was particularly good. 👍

Hope you got your swim this morning @Coxy11 . Shame there's no public transport so you could get about on your own.

I've been mixing yogurt with mayo for a while, especially for prawn cocktail. Yesterday I made up a bowl of potato salad using part yogurt too. In Turkey, they use a lot of yogurt for dips and dressings. I need to investigate more.

I went to one of my walking groups this morning. It was hot but quite a bit of shade and good to walk by the river.

    Today's plan -

B fry up (P, S, fibre), milk for drinks (calcium)

    L- tuna nicoise salad (P, S, F)

    D sausage casserole with penne (P, S, F)

    Swips - BGTY sausages 2?
