Morning all 😁
Sorry Beanie didn't see the post about peaches, yes def i would eat them! Especially tinned. Dates don;t bother me only on meat.
Denise, glad your foot is a bit better, don't over do it though.
BIL had his catheter out this morning, so will make him feel better i am sure.

@bubbs - Good to hear that the catheter has been taken out; I'm sure he'll feel a lot more comfortable without it.
@beanielou - I'd also eat tinned peaches; like @bubbs I don't worry about dates on tins. Dates on dairy I just use my nose and my eyes! If it looks OK and smells OK then it'll be OK. Most meat that I buy tends to get frozen as soon as I get home from the shop unless it's going to be eaten that day or the next. I tend to buy big packs of chicken thighs and then portion them up and freeze them.

Hi all,
Glad your ankle is a little better @joedenise x and good to hear BIL's catheter has been removed @bubbs x
Yes I would eat those peaches too @beanielou 😊
We've been the to Kent County Show today with DDad. Hot but good fun. Had a toasted bagel before we left, then we got a pastry each - boys went for sausage rolls, DSis had a Danish, I had apple strudel because it looked the least pastry and most fruit! Also got a single scoop of icecream. Dinner tonight is breaded fish and oven chips with peas.
Have realised I will be in Cyprus on Monday camping out in DDads' 3rd bedroom which is in the basement. It sounds grimmer than it is. It's got it's own shower room and doors to the lower garden (his garden is terraced) but I won't have any scales….
We have the family here for a BBQ tomorrow then we fly lunchtime Sunday. I'm going to eat with Dad on the ground then take something light for the plane (EJet) as we don't land until 8.30pm and he will need something to keep him going.

Looking like a hot day here today. We have the entire family coming for a BBQ around 2pm. I’m picking mum up at 9am for food shopping. I’ll just get stuff for today then DH can go shopping for the weekly food tomorrow after the airport run. I’m going to be away for a week @bubbs as DDad needs a chaperone back to Cyprus and it’s 4.5 hours each way so thought I’d make the most of it.
