    Afternoon all 😁

It's windy here but lovely and sunny and we have been unit this morning to get stuff for orders and OMG was hot in there!

Jelly, hope your Dad is ok?

No heard about my BIL yet , my sister is there this afternoon.

I have had hiccups for the last 20 mins and still going, trying to drink a cuppa of tea without chucking it all over myself 🤣🤣

Had a late lunch, so just some watermelon, fresh pineapple and couple of slices of ham

Canterbury didn't happen again today! Went into town for my waxing appointment and as I went to cross the road my ankle gave way. Thought I'd just twisted it but by just after lunch it was swelling up and getting really painful so ended up at the Minor Injuries Unit. Been X-rayed and no bones broken but have a bad sprain and bruising. Just got home a few minutes ago. It's so painful I can hardly walk. Just to got to sit and rest with my feet up! I'm sure DH is going to be happy waiting on me hand and foot for the next day or two!

Hope you hear from your sister soon @bubbs about your BIL.

I am @beanielou. It's harder sitting here with my feet up talking DH through how to make a fish pie! It looked completely different to mine but tasted good! No idea how he managed it but a lot of the peas ended up in the mash topping rather than just in the fish/sauce base!

Tomorrow will be fun talking him through how to make lamb tagine and couscous! At least he knows how to make couscous so won't need to talk him through that!

Oh Denise! Honestly if it's not one of us it's the other! Hope you soon are more mobile again.

My BIL was moved to a ward this afternoon, is BP and heart beat is still low , they have said he won't be back to work until at least October 😱 he has been off since beginning of Feb already, but needs must.

God if i had to talk DH through cooking , it would be a nightmare, i'd have beans on toast 🤣

Oh no @joedenise sorry about your ankle but well done to your DH for attempting fish pie. Good luck for the tagine!!

Hope BIL improves soon @bubbs x

Hythe today with DDad AND Mum - glutton for punishment. Cannot tell you what I ate - so bad - but dinner was SW chicken supreme. We are at the Kent Shoe tomorrow so probably more naughty stuff 😳

Morning all, up early this morning but had a really good night's sleep - think it was probably the wine followed by the medicinal brandy! Of course my weight has gone up rather than down this morning!

My ankle and foot is feeling much better this morning and the swelling has gone down a bit - I can now get my slippers on which I couldn't yesterday. Will rest it today a bit but not like yesterday. Don't think I can bear to talk DH through cooking anything ever again! I thought fish pie was quite easy to do - I just get on and do it but really having to talk him through it was horrendous because I had to think about when he needed to do what and the timings! But as you say @beanielou he actually did it.

Need to get some chicken out as realised the lamb tagine is actually for tomorrow as it needs to marinade overnight! Tonight we're having Fakeaway KFC - think that would be even worse than fish pie to talk DH through!!!

    Today's plan:

    B - Weetabix, milk, fruit - Fibre; calcium; S
    L - picky plate - P; S;12
    D - Fakeaway KFC, corn on the cob, chips, beans - P; F; 2.5

    Fibre - Weetabix
    Calcium x 2 milk
    Swips - Ryvita 4.5; LF spread 1.5; cheese 6 butter 2.5

    Have a good day everyone.
