Glad to hear it's all over @bubbs . DH must be exhausted after such a long procedure so maybe he won't get home today but 🤞🏼it'll be very soon and then you can start annoying him all over again. 🤣

Well done you on having the fry up, you need to look after yourself.🤗

It's been an odd day again here @Coxy11 . I certainly wouldn't risk a walk like you had because every so often it just tips down with rain and hailstones with no warning.☹️

Had a SW breakfast (bacon, egg, tomatoes) and then been out for lunch. I had lamb with mash and greens. There would have been some swips in gravy and possibly some others but it was delicious and well worth it. 😋 I probably won't want anything more but if I do it'll be a SW friendly snack and some weekend wine.

Yes @maman i took a jacket as wasn’t sure if I’d make it there and back without getting soaked. We’ve had no rain at all despite the dark clouds! Mmmmm lamb x

I know @bubbs not the retirement you were planning ☹️

Dad doing okay but waiting on CT scan at end of the month to see if he’s fit to travel.

    Evening all 😁

He is not home , simply because medication was not ready, he said fight to !!!!!! get in here, fight to !!!!!! get out 🤣🤣

We never ended up with any rain, typical because i didn't put the washing out, but it's almost dry on the airer.

I had something to eat when i came back too, tomorrow i think it will be either a big gain or a big loss, we will see

Gosh @bubbs what a worry. Is there any advice on what he should/shouldn’t be doing now? Good luck for WI but TBH it’s the least of your worries right now x

My nephew is 18 today and there’s a party later. I am cooking some beige food today that DSis dropped off yesterday. Am going to have a good breakfast and lunch beforehand as we are there from 5pm and it’s sandwiches and finger food only:

    B - bran sticks, blueberries, mullerlight - Fibre, S, 0.5

    L - JP, M&S roasted veg couscous, salad, pickles, apple - 3.5, S

    D - who knows…

    Calcium - milk

    SWIPs - at least 4

Hope DH is home today @bubbs and all is well.

Have a great time at the party @Coxy11 🥳

Well, I slept in and missed class! I think all the comings and goings last week caught up with me. I just feel utterly exhausted. A weekend of pottering ahead.

DS2 is making me a bacon roll for breakfast before he heads off to a football party at a friends. I found a single portion of meatballs in the freezer so that’s dinner sorted 😀. New slow cooker arrived yesterday and there’s a piece of topside cooking away for tomorrow’s dinner.

Meant to say for anyone liking Mrs Elwood gherkins, FF are selling the spears and slightly smaller jars of the sliced variety for 79p. A huge saving as the large jars normally retail for £2.65/3 ish is most supermarkets. I did pick up a ‘few’ 😉

    Afternoon all 😁

He is home 👏👏👏👏got home about 2

I lost 2lb today now out the bottom of target .

I went up the hospital after group as it's literally around the corner, can visit from 11 at the weekend as no procedures done. So i went in the restaurant and was going to have toast, which i asked for then i saw the beans, so asked for beans on toast, so she puts it on one slice so then i had a dry slice of toast 🤣so i said can i have beans on the other toast? she said yes but that counts as 2 portions 🤣 i said that's fine. £2.60 i thought it was quite a bargain 🤣

    Pizza for tea 😜

    This is dh's tablets 😱😱😱

So glad you have him home @bubbs - and happy they got him sorted. What a pharmacy you have, a cornucopia of medications if ever there was one. Don’t worry about being out of target, you’ll find something tasty to get you back in.

We are back from hols now and back on plan. I will weigh officially at work on Monday but at the moment I am doing a bit of damage limitation. My scales say a 2lb gain but there not the best.

Started the day as usual with yog/fruit, egg sandwich for lunch and jacket spuds, tuna, beans and HEa cheese for tea with salady bits on the side. No wine, no snacks!

Jeez bubbs that’s some amount of medication! Glad your DH is home. Well done on your loss. That was a bargain for the cafe.
