    Morning all 😁

Well done Milann and Glad 👏

Yes we had a downpour yesterday evening too.

No rain yet today but certainly cooler, but not cold.

No idea on food yet 😂 we have roast chicken for tea as i took one out the freezer yesterday, whether it's with veg or with salad depends how warm it gets, i have both in.

Seems like the scales are being kind this weekend. Well done on all the losses yesterday and especially @TakeItEazy with the whopping 5lbs!!

STS isn't too bad either @Glad after many treats and that's only a small gain from a week's holiday @Jellybaby as you've only been back on plan for a few days.

Thanks for the swips for the Campfire Stew @bubbs . I'll give it a try as I've never had it before and we like gammon anyway.

I plan dinners just a week ahead @Coxy11 but make sure I have plenty of ingredients in for breakfasts. When I started SW I gave DH a list of all the breakfasts that I would eat and he chooses. It tends to be a mixture of porridge with fruit or some sort of cooked breakfast with eggs. DH and I rarely eat together at lunchtime, he eats sandwiches but as I'm usually at home I have LOs when I can (I deliberately cook extra veg) or omelettes, JPs or salads. I do my week's dinner plan and the shopping list to go with it making sure I use up anything fresh that needs eating first. I generally plan in a couple of HM ready meals from the freezer too for days when I'm in a hurry.

I think we'd all like to lose weight faster @Suffolksue but it takes perseverance to stick to plan all the time as RL has a habit of getting in the way.

Stayed on plan yesterday with only swips used in the sauce for a casserole. Today we're having a lamb hot pot so probably just a couple to thicken the gravy. Plus my weekend wine of course but they're planned in. ☺️

    Today's plan-
B- toast (fibre), milk (calcium), eggs, bacon (P), tomatoes (S)
    L- ham (P), bubble & squeak (F,S), beetroot (S)
D- lamb hot pot with veg (P,S,F)
    Swips- cornflour 2? weekend wine☺️

Have a great holiday @joedenise , hope you get a decent room and enjoy the food in all those restaurants! 😎

    Afternoon all,

Well done to all the losers 🎉 fab losses.

Have a fantastic time away @joedenise

Spent most of the day reviewing home insurance quotes, paying bills, and trying to find a painter and decorator willing to view and quote.

I ended up not drinking as much as I expected last night which is good news for SW and my head this morning 🤣. Food has been an egg salad sandwich and fruit and dinner is steak, chips and loads of roasted veg.

    All sounding good ther Maman.
i agree we’d all like to loose weight faster.
im having a bit of a quandary with myself. I’m debating going back to group to spur me on. But the only group I can find that fits in with my social life 🤣🤣is 8 am on Friday morning. This would mean Dh dropping me off a mile up the road whilst I go(there’s no way I’d be able walk at that time in the morning….i need to loosen up as the day goes on) then he’d have to go home or take himself out for breakfast. I’d leave group a tad early and walk about 20 minutes to my singing group that begins at 9.30. Dh is across the road at 10 am so he’d have to make his way back. Then we meet up just after 11 when we’ve both finished. I’m not sure if it warrants all the messing about, especially for Dh. I think it’s my old original sw lady who I loved to bits…..so much more genuine than any other I’ve had. I’ll stew on it This is where I miss my car…..and there’s no direct bus. I’ve got a free joining voucher from Woman’s Own. I think I’ll see how I feel on Friday.
Brunch today - bacon, egg and tomato in a Warburton soft pitta
Dinner/tea - roast lamb, peas, carrot and swede, 2 roasties and a tablespoon of gravy and splash of mince sauce. Followed by strawberries a tablespoon of M&S raspberry coulis and yoghurt (I resisted the ice cream Dh had)

if I’m hungry later I’ll have 30g cheddar and apple.

Operation blue dress is going well 🤣👍👗(if only I had the waistline to go in emoji dress )🤣🤣🤣

It's a lot of faffing around @milann but could be worth it even if you just go back until the wedding. 🤔

I save most of my swips for weekends so a Friday morning WI would suit me. Unfortunately the Friday one locally has rude people who chat away when the consultant is speaking so that was out for me except for weigh and go.

I remember going to a nephew's wedding a few years ago this Bank Holiday weekend and the weather was surprisingly hot. More important guests had bought jackets and were baking. I was able to wear a sleeveless dress with (like you) a matching cardigan (not needed until walking back to hotel in the evening) . I wore tights and heels for the ceremony but then changed into ballet flats and took tights off. The 'trussed up' guests were so envious! 🤣

    Morning!

    Happy holidays @joedenise !

So far today I have cleaned the oven (after leaving the gloop to do its thing overnight) and DH has removed yet another squirrel from our house - this one very much alive and running around the lounge!! Not a very chilled BH Monday so far…

Sweeps Festival was good. Lovely to see the High St and castle grounds busy. I had some Cajun fries - just regular fries with Cajun seasoning - the best of bad choices. Swerved the burgers and German hotdogs.

    Food today:

    B - Shredd!es, mullerlight, blueberries - fibre, 0.5, S

L/D - late lunch/early dinner of roast beef planned. Will do roasties, tenderstem broccoli, cavelo Nero and cauliflower cheese.

    Calcium - milk, cheese

    SWIPs - 0.5 plus a small glass of red = 8.5
