What about the resin bound permeable slabs @PenniesIntoPounds? Would that be an option you could look at? https://www.theresinbondedslabcompany.co.uk/permeable-resin-bound-paving-slabs

Think they tend to have more options than the usual paving slab companies like Marshalls.

    Sounds a lovely Sunday @Rhyddid2026

Thanks so much @joedenise, will open tab then look at it tomorrow- I'm trying to make it a rule to do no build admin on a Sunday unless it's genuinely urgent or its stressing Mr PIP, it is so constant I have had to implement boundaries for sake of mental health, which is very difficult for a self-employed person 😁 Very much appreciate the link

I did not muster up the energy to cook anything random from cupboard supplies but I am counting the porridge sachet as my weekend cupboard win.

Did all the dusting component of the start of month big flat clean (yes I know it's the 8th)

    Decluttered a cat feeder

    Re permeable paving

We have a mixture of water permeable membrane with stepping stone slabs surrounded by 20ml gravel, and for the front path, block pavers set with a (reused) tile edge on compacted sand-based aggregate. Marshalls do a wavy edged brick-sized permeable paver called priora, which ensures water drains. I just don't like the look of the resin bonded gravel-style. Our house is thatched, so no gutters which means you have to be careful about draining water that comes off the roof. This works.

I went on a (very muddy) local group walk yesterday that was very tiring and then I had a relaxing Soundbath in the evening so a day of contrasts. At least it didn't rain on the walk.

My class for tomorrow has been cancelled as the teacher is not feeling well. This week I have a blood test and I'm getting my hair blow dried for a meeting with my friend from school and uni. I'm staying in a hotel overnight in London after meeting her. I also have two meetups to go to and a physio appointment. I almost forgot about one of the meetups, but the guy who runs the group yesterday reminded me.😁

Thanks for that @Suffolk_lass will look into it when brain working

Someone took the decluttered laundry rack from outside so that's pleasing

Bit more start of month clean, just the big kitchen appliances and sink to do now (watches aghast as it turns into March 😁)

Remembered to re-order prescription and did it straight away instead of looking at it on the to-do list for several days or indeed weeks

    Wow @Wednesday2000 that sounds busy!!

Pension contributions increased. Venison burgers eaten, odd ends of cheese decluttered on the burger.

Log burner refused to light again, even though it lit fine yesterday. I wonder if the logs are still too damp even though they've been in the conservatory for a week with the dehumidifier on. And then in the living room for a couple of days 🤷🏻‍♀️

Aaanndddd just realised I forgot to post the vntd shoes again. I'll pack them tonight and leave them by the front door so I don't forget tomorrow.

Medication review requested via the surgery's new online e-consult system. A bit long-winded, but if it replaces the need for a face to face or telephone appointment then all good, it makes things easier. if not, then it's a faff and will get reported as such!

Car tax renewed - and I only got the renewal notice yesterday so GO ME!

We have the econsult system at our local GP. The doctor told me they are going to roll the system out across the whole of the UK.

I'm trying to organise a trip to the cinema for my book group at the moment.
