I don't either but I also can't see any other reason for me receiving 2 copies of a letter & they are definitely identical. I think the problem may be that the doctors work on the NHS app whilst the hospital or some of it seems to work on something that starts Dr

Husband is under three different hospitals for various conditions plus he sees a Parkinsons nurse. They all seem to have different systems for booking appointments and contacting him.

Sometimes we get a letter after the appointment .

So far the eye clinic seem to be the best.We do have to ring up and remind them he needs to be seen but once they make the appointment they don't keep postphoning it unlike the other two.

Am declaring too knackered to cook something odd from cupboard stores, but I have at least got out a portion of something mildly odd from the freezer, leftover from the last time I tackled cupboard bits. That's basically the same, right

OAT for this evening is to go through the carrier bags of future gifts and find a soap I think is too battered to be giftable but is perfectly usable for our hand washing needs

OAT is to remove all the wooden battens and skirting board before it becomes too antisocial to be banging hammers. And if I'm feeling energetic polyfilla in the holea

I had a class last night and then the cinema today and I feel quite tired as it has been a busy week again. I did have a class tonight, but I decided to just stay at home and have a bath and watch TV.

I did go out to buy my train tickets for next week as sometimes there are people queueing and I don't want to be late to meet my friend considering that we haven't met in 20 years!

Tomorrow I have a class and then we are having lunch out at a cafe. I have three donation bags to drop off at the charity shop tomorrow.

I had to cancel my spot in the pilates class due to a family problem that needed my attention through the night.

My main OAT is to post the shoes that just sold on vntd. Go to acupuncture and pick up the local venison on the way. I'll be having lunch with a family friend to discuss my pension too. That might be all I do this weekend as I'm pretty exhausted.

Mmmm venison - lovely! We’re trying to switch out beef for it where possible as it’s a more sustainable option as long as it comes from a required culling rather than being farmed, I gather. If fact, that reminds me, I need to get some mince out of the freezer for making cottage pie later.
The building firm came to look at the steps in the week, and will be sending us a quote I hope, so we’ll know where we stand with that. The other main OATs right now is to get the electrical work finished- I need to message the electrician and see when he can fit us in. We’ve agreed it is a “this month” task though.

Took a selection of items to the repair cafe, about 60% fully repaired, 30% checked over and advice given how to get them working fully, 1 item unrepairable ☹️ - at least we tried, plus 1 item my friend (volunteer at the repair cafe) will hand over when we meet up next weekend as I had to rush off to a meeting before the final item could be finished.
