Say whaaaat @Rhyddid2026 how do we profile criminals?!
Unless you mean it is criminal to be paying £3 instead of £1 for the same toothpaste
Well done getting brakes done, that is a very important if not the most important job!

🤣🤣🤣 observe geographical boundaries, either natural ones like rivers, main roads, or town boundaries, or psychological ones that just feel like a different area. So what you feel about that shop is what most of us feel about going to places that feel 'too far' or 'not my area' and it's most noticed/studied in criminals (as far as I know).

I had to check I was on the right thread … is PIP displaying criminal tendencies?
I suspect my cats would claim that I am as I gave everyone flea treatment today. Harder to forgive than pills apparently as neither wanted their treat straight away (I guess they have to get over the smell). Both are, however, now continuing to try to wash it off on my bed and wipe it on me. So I should be flea-free for another three months.

I have ordered cleaning supplies and loo roll, in bulk etc… that is being delivered today as I have Prime. I then thought why am I bothering to order cleaning supplies when I was going to get my house professionally deep cleaned? I just tried to call the cleaning company but they are closed today and open Monday so I will put that on my task list for next week.
It is a lovely sunny day here after the rain I had when I was in London when I went out this week. Typically, I don't have much to do outside today. I have physio and a meetup to go to tomorrow so I just checked and of course there is heavy rain tomorrow.
Seeing my friends from school this week after so many years has put a few ideas in my head of things I want to do. We were all saying about how we were all coming up to age 50 this year. We were talking about what we had done in our lives and what we wished we had done. They were both saying how good it was that I am early retired at my age and I was saying that I feel like I don't have a big goal anymore. I have been looking at volunteering options, but nothing I have seen seems quite right.
I was thinking about getting into investing too as I know I have to do it before the next tax year. I was talking about investing with my friend as she wants to retire early too and she used to work for the Financial Times. We went to a pub in Borough I know and she said she used to go there with her work colleagues when she worked for the FT. I was sitting on the tube train as well in London and the men next to me were talking about a financial blog I used to read. I got the email from the blog today and it was about investing. I will take that as signs that it is something I should definitely do!😉

I have opened all the windows to let the fresh air in, and the cats are sitting on the windowsills in the sunshine. Mind you, the temperature inside has now dropped, so I think the air is fresh enough and I probably need to go round and close them all again!

Main tasks for today are to clean the coops and go get dog food for the next 2 weeks.
The rats have started trying to tunnel into the run so I need to do something about that. I know I can't get rid of rats completely and forever but I usually manage to deter them and keep them from getting too comfortable. They've been really persistent lately! I've got lots of aviary mesh so I'll try and put more of that around the run while the weather is decent.
I do also plan to do a bit of a big stinking OAT this weekend but I haven't decided which one yet.
