Liverpool_Anne - that looks a very restful place.
I was giving the paint the wrong name! It is Eating Room red - J has started to paint the feature wall and I like the colour. J has been doing some of the woodwork too.
No sign of the refuse truck - they didn't come until Monday last week.
I have been doing some sorting this morning after a load of washing. They are forecasting 30% chance of rain - we haven't had any for ages but I don't want wet washing. It is out on the airer so I can easily get it indoors. I found another airer upstairs - it is living in the garage now.
J has moved the box containing my hall console table into the garage - getting ready for the delivery of my sofa on Tuesday. I moved all the tubs of paint from the hallway before he arrived.
Bestie has suggested going for a meal with her and hubby on Tuesday plus an old Church member - depends on delivery time.
My decluttered items list is so random!
Decluttered - 3 silk flower decorations, bag, 2 pairs of gloves, fitted sheet, glue stick, shell, cello bag, eye drops, ring, 18 toy cars, cardboard box, photo, map book, blouse, plastic bag, after shave balm, basket, conkers and a biscuit tin.

@Florenceem ooh Eating Room Red is lush, I'm sure it will look fab.
@SpikyHedgehog I got my green bin sticker at the weekend, but as I'm a new subscriber I had to have a bin delivered. It arrived yesterday and is HUUUGE! I need to have a rejig of where to store them, but not till it's been part filled tomorrow before being emptied on Monday 😁

I just wondered if anyone knew anything about London_1 (Jackie O) as she hasn't posted on here since 27 March?
I think one or two people might be friends with her on FB.

Floss - I think the colour will be good with the furniture.
Taken another shopping trolley of donations to the charity shop - girl in there said - you were here yesterday.
Went to The Rang. and got a throw for my sofa and a lampshade and matching table lamp for the lounge.
J is coming here tomorrow to carry on with decorating.
Bin men never arrived.

@Florenceem , we will have to see photos of the eating room red room. I had my living room that colour many years ago and really liked it.
Lovely walk with a friend this morning, and afternoon dropping CS Bag off, taking shoes back, and 3 batteries to be recycled. Now trying to motivate myself to tidy up and put washing away - I want to iron but just too hot for it.
Fingers crossed bedside table is picked up tonight.
Also doing admin, trying to sort out council tax which includes asking for my account number, but not allowed to submit the form for help without it! and no other contact on the website…. I can't be alone on this!

I did a bit more weeding at the allotment yesterday, after helping unload a delivery of bags of manure and compost for the allotment shop. Then an optician's eye test, followed by a treat to myself of lunch at a local bistro (which had no queues for once) and then a mango sorbet. Bought some shorts at the CS - shocked at the size I needed, but the reality is that I can't get into most of my other shorts any longer after months of eating chocolate …
Today, managed to finish weeding the front garden, plant some dahlia tubers, and pot up a couple of tubs at the front. Decision paralysis for the back garden, and which tubs to use for the bedding plants I have.
The green bin was emptied mid morning - and then I promptly almost refilled it again! Two weeks until the next collection 😱

We had a two dry storms the past couple of days. Thunder, lightning and no rain….until last night when it hammered down minus the percussion and light effects!! For those who watched Flash Gordon I was expecting Ming the Merciless to appear!!
Not much out of the house except a green plastic washing basket which was asked for on our reuse FB page at 9pm and collected 9.40pm.
It was a little odd as we’d agreed I’d leave it in the doorstep which I had. He then messaged me at 9.40 to tell me he had arrived. I checked the camera and there was no one in sight. I replied that it was on the doorstep he then appeared in the camera collecting it.
Not quite sure if he was expecting me to send up flares and a marching band to celebrate him picking it up. Either way I wasn’t opening the door to a strange man whilst wearing my PJs at that time of night. Fortunately DSis was also in the house if he had turned out to be an odd ball.

I've got a kilt pin I use to hold my crochet cardigan together. And nappy pins to hold duvets together when I double them up. I could sew snaps on them, but then I'd have to go to the haberdashery to buy chunky snaps, and then all the bargains would fall into my basket…

Friday is a fairly dull, cloudy day with a forecast high of 25°C (feeling 1° cooler due to a W wind) & a low of 18°C All today’s mail is addressed to me - 7 pieces 😧 I have dealt with all bar one letter including filing, recycling & shredding + added July’s 1p Challenge amount to Terramundi pot. Last of the non bedding washing done & hanging out on whirligig - just hope it doesn’t rain*🤞The recycling wheelie bin hasn’t been emptied yet this week- maybe tomorrow 🤞 DH is watching MotoGP practices. It might be cooler but it feels very ‘close’ & it is quite dull now (15:15) started brightening up again about 17:00 & is now sunny 18:00. DH has checked the rear brakes on the motorbike - didn’t need replacing just a bit of a clean. I dealt with my last item of mail. Now that the weather has got warmer, I went through the CS bag & removed the knitted items. Dinner was salad again as it is just too warm to cook. Wudupa.
906 - 909 Kitchen recycling, plastic bottle, drinks cans, 0.5” paperwork - recycled
910 - 911 Kitchen detritus, 0.25” shredding - binned
*It didn’t rain 🥳 so washing dried, folded & put away.

Hi all, a busyish day yesterday. Various things moved around,, the ironing board and iron are now on the landing, the pan draw emptied, 3 pan lids with no matching pans and the innards of an egg poaching pan recycled along with various other bits of gubbins. The crockery moved out of the last cupboard, 2 LDFPA, empty jar recycled, bowel cancer test decluttered and posted, cardboard box recycled and a trip to the tip with 7 very old part tins of paint that have been lurking for far to long along with 2 very large pieces of polystyrene packaging. Lr bin emptied.
II also dealt with a tadpole before it became a frog 😁 and just did a bit of crochet after tea.
Still not caught up with all the posts but @Mrs SD thank you for my gold star 😁
Off to get the washing machine going as I might have to disconnect it on Monday so doing the bath mats and a load of tea towels to get them on the line before the weather turns. I will probably be hand washing in the bath from Monday 😂 but that will be essential only, I have enough bedding and towels to last a while 😂
Huga to everyone who would like one.
I am adding 27 to my numbers so now at 742 and with 2 draws left to sort I am expecting more things to go 😁
Take care everyone
