Not much to report this side. Busy with life and work and decluttering through using things up is very, very slow (although a good reminder as to why I don't need excess!). I am slowly refilling the freezer though as I like to have options and it works better when full anyway :) It's nice to be able to take advantage of the good ys offers when I see them.
I might get round to my sewing pile soon… I have been making all the puzzles I own in the evenings and not found any to get rid of yet. But at least they are getting used! I should switch to sewing instead to get rid of the couple of things on the sewing pile (which is actually stuff sat on the bedroom drawers and for some reason as soon as one thing is there, more things gather like clutter rubberneckers!)

Morning all.
Only bits of pain during the day yesterday so doing well. I am keeping to 70mg of tablets in the evening. I have to time them just right so I can still do some knitting before the tablets make me sleepy.
No sign of J here yet.
Going to do a few bits of ironing before it gets too warm.
Looking forward to having the lounge finished so I can dress the room when the blind arrives.
I have got used to just a blind at windows but still think curtains as well dresses them.
May take my full shopping trolley of donations to the charity shop later depending on what time J finishes here.
Worried about no sign of Jackie O.

Florenceem, I had Timeless throughout the whole house at my last place, I found it went with all colours, very versatile.
I like clutter rubber neckers Queen Jess. My pointless breakfast bar started with a few tins of paint which were in use and now it is crowded with I know not what, stuff to do house jobs with I think. It actually was on my radar to put it all away next week. Some stuff still hasn't got a home since the move but it shall have next week.
Basil Brush unleashed was a treat, we really enjoyed it. It was over too soon. Also, so much for Southerners not being friendly, we met some lovely people and had some great chats. The hotel was fabulous, I cannot fault it. I am liking these short trips rather than a big holiday. It's ages since we have been to North Lincolnshire so perhaps there next month.
We are off shortly for lunch with DS and family.

Hopefully Jackie O is just having a very busy time of things 🤞From what she has talked to us about I think she was a child in the 1940s.
@Mrs_Money_Penny
Good luck with the wedding preparations! I hope you can put your feet up afterwards and have a more relaxing time 😊@Liverpool_Anne - there is nothing like a new kitchen to force a clear out! It will be amazing once it is all done and hopefully having to do the laundry and washing up in the bathroom will soon become a distant memory. I have been there and am so glad it was done during the summer too!
It is cooler, thank goodness but still lovely and sunny. This is what I prefer for summer. A little overnight rain would be perfect. I need to get back into my normal routine and also do some late spring cleaning. The fireplace and stove have all been washed down as we shouldn’t need that again until September. I know I need to get all the books out and dust them. I plan to just do one shelf a day. Also, get the curtains and sofa covers into a rota for washing. I was too hot to start wrestling with them all even though the weather was perfect for drying them.
Hope everyone has a good weekend 😊14 -

Thanks @remmie, was getting very concerned. Also miss hearing her tales.
Hope everyone is having a good and/or productive day.
I've been watching a lady on YT who has the brilliant idea of what she calls "1 reset a day". She does just 1 extra thing per day like cleaning the cupboard tops or pulling the cooker out & cleaning behind it. After watching a good few of her videos, I decided that I am going to incorporate "1 reset a day" into my days. I've made a list for the week starting Monday 1st June - excluding Sunday - so will see how it goes. My thinking is doing a small something daily will mean eliminating the need for an overwhelming big thing…make sense?
Nothing decluttered today apart from the usual household rubbish. Hopefully that will inprove next week when its supposed to be cooler.
Enjoy the remainder of your day all xx
