Emails down to 265. More off the reading pile into recycling. Some little bits and pieces done - decided to stop walking past things and just do them which meant there was no structure to the day but am feeling better about things being done. A couple of books to go back to village book exchange.
Am about to write a new ‘master list’ which is something I found useful before but stopped doing. Will divide it up into categories ie house, car, garden etc and see if it helps me focus and prioritise better.

@QueenJess and @floss ,I have thrown more suncream out, I do use the older cream when I probably don't need to, yesterday was a walk after 6pm and I wear it even if i'm going to the shops 7 mins away, and nearly always in the shade or covered up but you're right.
Today
Suncream x 2, papers.x 5 , chopped part of the hedges x 3 , plastic wallets and paper document holder , unsubscribing and emails deleted, counting as 15
New total 747
Waiting for it charity and donation hub to see if they cam collect!

Wednesday has been a cooler day with a high of 26°C, low of 16°C & a light E wind during the morning & early afternoon. Late afternoon the wind picked up & during the evening it has made it feel 3° cooler which is a relief 😊
DH left home 07:55 to drive to specialist garage to get car air-con fixed. As they were so busy he had to leave the car. He took the opportunity to go into a posh café & had a breakfast bap & coffee before catching the train to Shadwell & then DLR arriving home 10:45 Rather unexpectedly DH got a call to say the car was ready for collection. He set off at 12:30 & used 3 buses. Eventually got home 15:05 & had to get my DSis to let him in, as I was busy upstairs. I worked up a real sweat - first stripping our bed & whilst the mattress was airing I tidied the bedroom wall unit. Then remade the bed with summer bedding. Took one load of washing downstairs - washed & put out on whirligig. Salad for dinner. Wudupa.

Thanks for the gold star, Mrs SD. It was a lot to leave however, most of it wasn't mine. I had been storing it for years. I now have the space to complete the garage tidy up on my big job list for this year.

Morning all.
Have been awake since 3 am as we were hit with one of the worst thunderstorms I think i have ever witnessed…the lightning started at 2am according to our security camera's and stopped about 5 am. I am shattered!
Have spent some lovely time at different seasides with different people over the course of the last week, first day at home today but have friends and family coming to visit so I think that I will be mainlining caffeine!
Hope everyone is doing as well as they can be.

The thunder storm started here at 1am and I woke up to it again at 6.45am. I did get to sleep in between, but the storm lasted for hours.

@BlueJ94 Everything bar the weekly digest is ticked for email - I don't like my phone interrupting me unless it's my children - and I'm not getting any email notifications. 😞 I've tried switching categories off and on to force re-saving but still no emails which is very frustrating. Dxx

Morning all.
BlueJ94 - Can you explain how to find that please? I am not getting notifications too.
The dowels that I put on Freegle and no one asked for them - have left the house. I posted about them on the local chat site and they were asked for.
I tried to phone J the builder last night - he has put one metal and one plastic door catch on the wardrobe doors - I want 2 metal ones. Also want some wood filler in a hole on the frame.
Young J is helping his Granddad with a tip run this morning and will come here after that. I asked him if they can take the 3 empty paint tins that are in the driveway - hope he remembers.
I found the yarn I needed easily - didn't have to go into the cupboard for it.
When I looked at my record of previous makes - saw it was 10 years since I knitted my new planned make.
No morning message from my bestie - which is most unusual.
I will carry on with sorting today.

Thank you for my medal @Mrs_Salad_Dodger 😁
More to be done in the allotment today, I fear. We also had a thunderstorm overnight, but probably only for an hour or so.
The drain people have been and unblocked the drain … it was a build up of dirt, really, they think. So I'll get their invoice shortly.
@BlueJ94 interesting spot, thanks. I've reset my settings and will see if it makes a difference too
