@Florenceem more hugs for you.
@Green_hopeful if repairs ultimately fail consider sending your cashmere to TurtleDoves. If it has enough life in it they will repurpose the whole thing and you then get an offer to pay them £5 for cashmere fingerless gloves. RRP £35 I think. Anyways a friend sent them a cardy a few years back and offered me the gloves as a birthday present. I got some lovely deep purple ones. I find them a nuisance if I'm wearing them properly and trying to type but they can also slide down and just be wrist warmers which is exactly what I need.

Just spent 2 hours in the crafting shed! It has not been used for 3 years as the roof started to leak and everything got packed into plastic boxes and then it became a dumping ground for all things not wanted in house. Lots of just ins, paint cans and random crafting bits that weren't important enough for protective containers so why didn't I get rid of them before they got ruined. Anyway shed roof was fixed in October. It wasn't just a frog it was a huge Bull frog so I am pleased that I managed to get down there. Result is that I have 3 bin bags, 6 old tins of paint, some electric cables 🤷 and 2 large wooden shelves to take to the tip. A run will be booked early next week and then I can really get to sorting it properly ready for use.
DH did his earlier in the week and he has a bit to add to that as well. Unfortunately a lot of rusted tools that had been sitting in water.
We noe have a new problem. DH has a few floor boards that have rotted in his and today I put my foot through one of mine too. How come one job always leads to another. Once we get it all cleared we will have to look at getting those fixed.
Anyway I am happier that it wasn't any worse than I thought and now that I have started it I think that it will be an easier task from now on.
Sending hugs @florenceem and can I just say I don't know how you do it all.

@suzeesu2000 - sending you hugs from California. Losing your Mum is especially hard. I lost my mother back in 2008 and it still is difficult.
@Florenceem - sending you hugs also. The first year is always the hardest and special days always seem the worst.

Afternoon all xxx Eveyone seems to be doing wonderfully with all their decluttering efforts, which I love to read about. No matter how big or small, every declutter is a win 🏅 and it's never ending on a daily basis 😂.
@ suzeesu2000 - I'm so very sorry for your heartbreaking loss ((( BIG HUGS)))
@Florenceem - Thinking of you today and sending (((hugs)))
@Yorkie1 - 😂😂🤣🤣 Imagining the scene with the cat & the Magpie. It's the only land bird that babyface never messes with, and she's very good at running in the opposite direction 😂🤣.
@ Soontobeoap - great going with the crafting shed xxxx
Busy day again here strting with the usual HH bin sorting & kitchen cleaning. You wouldn't believe that I empty the kitchen bin & clean it before I go to bed would you? 😂😂. Recycling & garden wheelie bin collection today, although the recycling bin is yet to be emptied, even at this hour. It's not unknown for the bins to be emptied late into the night 😥😮.
Babyface had a super night and has been full of it today, although I have to inspire her have a sleep by leading with a well deserved example early this afternoon. I managed to get 2 hours sleep and am now back in action with getting babayface's food and sorting her out along with a playtime with her new Easter Bunny baby which she adores. It's such a pleasure to see her feeling so well and being so alert today - I'm really thrilled for her xxxx Long may it continue 🐶🐽🐵🦁🐰🐾. I'm off to get a little dinner after another whirlwind day. I managed to do a little clearing up in the garden this morning and had a couple of bulbs I needed to deep plant in a large planter that was already planted up, so that was interesting 😂. I'd also had the gardener dig a few holes around the garden yesterday ready for planting a collecting of new plants that some kind person has sent me, and that I'll be planting them after Wednesday, once this cold snap passes 🤗😉. I'm sure that babyface will be helper and she's more than welcome to continue to dig some of the holes out a little more and make sure that I'm planting the plants correctly😂🤣.
I hope that everyone has had a lovely day, take care all, love to all and toodle ta-ta for now xxxx
