Many condolences @suzeesu2000
@Florenceem an air fryer is essentially a very small fan oven that doesn't need preheating, I think. I don't have one as I don't have the worktop space for one. It might depend on the type of food you like to cook.

I'm busy here mainly using the things I have and avoiding bringing anything new in. A few using up wins to log - most from being in the garden today and making good use of the seed stash.
4 - gift wrap used up
1 - freezer supplies used up
1 - paperwork recycled
7 - seed packets used up
1 - puzzle book completed (recycled)New total 1,099
Use it up total 302The battle with the freezer use up continues..
Just noticed I met my use up goal for this year, so added a new one! There's definitely plenty to be used up here that will then create some more room. At least the packaging fits nicely in the cupboard whereas I used to have to fight to get it in. It's slowly improving, but the key is not to bring in anything else new.

@suzeesu2000 I’m so very sorry to read of your mums passing, sending wrap around hugs your way..
Please be kind and gentle with yourself for the foreseeable..
Returned tools to my Pa that we’d borrowed last week, so that’s helped clear clutter in the garage..
Not much else done today, it’s been a little disjointed, so giving myself the rest of the day to chill and read 🤓 📖

@Florenceem I have a Tower air fryer, it's an oven type and I love it. I only use the top oven of my double built-in if baking, and the fan oven if cooking for family. It has 3 shelves, which I find easier than drawers, and I can see what's going on. This is mine:

@Florenceem I don't have an air fryer but I do use a Remoska. It does really good roasts as the meat doesn't dry out, you can make stews in it as well as bake. I make granola in it, veggie burgers, stuffed peppers, you name it, the Remoska cooks it!
Lots on the CS pile today - books, cushions, kitchen stuff. Also been attacking the reading pile and have a list ready for tomorrow's admin tasks.

Thanks for the info about air fryers. Mr F always said that we didn't want one.
I have carried on with carrying stuff down from upstairs.
I stood with small bits of fabric and a lighter over a baking tin to check if cotton or a poly cotton blend. I soaked the fabric bits before I put them in rubbish - don't want any chance of combustion.
I made a jam sponge pudding while I cooked dinner. I will have it with my full fat custard. I weighed myself last night - no gain but no loss.
I will attach photos of the mess I have to sort.

We have 2 air fryers, much quicker than heating a large oven. You can put small amounts in, quicker to heat, quicker to wash. We can easily have different meals now ie i prefer mash, hed have chips with everything which we didn't do in the oven but is no problem to quickly chop a potato and we can each have what we prefer so although there's two of us we often use it for cooking one meal.
