@ Florenceem - You'll have your organised mess sorted out in no time. I've seen far worse 🙃😲😜.

@ daisy_1571 - I have an air fryer which I seldom use but it's a cracker for cooking or as I've found, for drying Lavender 😂. I always do some crazy thing……

Not really a very eventful day here or should I say less eventful than usual. All the HH decluttering bin ritual bits done along with hoovering, sterilising the washing machine just now after another load of washing done and put out on the line overnight, even though it's going to be 3 degrees here and feel more like -2 😁😅. It's far too cold to do any gardening as plants get distressed in these crazy warm day and very low night temperatures, so other than basic clearing up / dead heading spring flowers, all will be left well alone until Wednesday onwards 😉. Besides, I've got a distressed pair of Blackbirds who have had to renest quickly from nextdoor who have scared the life out of them, so I'm avoiding going anywhere remotely near them for the next couple of days 😋.

Babyface is doing ok. She had a rocky night last night with settling and I did need to take quick action at one point, but all calm after 20 minutes and one snoring happy baby for the rest of the night. She managed 6 hours sleep before absolutely bursting for the loo at 6am - bless her - A grab her and get to the nearest door quick 😂 which Missy independent hates, but she absolutely detests having any accidents in the house; a naturally very clean girl, so it was the worst of the 2 evils 😂. She's had a lovely day and managed a lovely walk late this morning complete with doggy buggy which she hardly used, so that's encouraging and confidence building for her xxx She's been telling Berty the bully pigeon off today and been having a chat with the fox this evening, so she's back on guard 😋😉😂. She's also been sheperding me around different places in the house today, which is also very usual for her; and something she hasn't done for over 2 months, so it was a delight to see her actively doing it again, although I had to encourage her to stop, rest, and sleep this afternoon by going to bed myself for a couple of well needed hours of sleep only to be woken with her hogging most of the bed, buttons up, and snoring loudly in my left ear 😂🤣🤣 very small price to pay xxxx She's presently settling down while I have my last mug of coffee before we potter off to bed. She seems eager to get snoring away……

Florenceem, we had an air fryer, used it once, gave it away. I think my style of cooking is more stove top than oven.

Sewing these dogs and bags has taken up much of the day. Did cook and do a couple of loads of washing and washing up. Also planted up the pansies and put them by the front door. I had the sewing machine on the coffee table and nipped out to do a little job every time ads came on the TV.

I have to set the alarm to get up to phone the GP surgery at 8 am. I had a txt message to make an appointment at the visiting clinic to discuss my knee. When I phoned I was advised I had to scramble at 8 am Monday as the lady couldn't book me an appointment in advance and they quickly get booked up!

2. Sort out sleep patterns - initial targets: bed by 03:00, up by 10:30
3. Don’t put it down, put it away + deal with mini tasks as soon as they are noticed e.g. refill olive pourer or salt cellar, stitch up a hole in a garment etc.
4. Commence ‘Operation Financial Frog Tickling’ using the acronym - I.R.I.S. (Identify, Research, Implement, Sign Off) - One per quarter
5. Continue to keep kitchen clean & tidy - before going to bed
6. Plan & Execute ONE Major Project - 2026 New Bathroom

Sunday continued: I forgot to mention that I finished knitting another hat & have started on a matching scarf 🙂 Another afternoon of watching TV & knitting. Dinner tonight was hm cottage pie with broccoli. Wudupa

Morning all! Monday is my favourite day at work, its usually less busy!

Ive gotten up 40 minutes ealrier than usual as i want to drop some clothing to the chairty donation bins on the way to work as well as pack a parcel. Im trying to make sure it's eat breakfast in the mornings now too, so I made sure to make overnight oats.

Im meeting a friend after work for a coffee and a pop into m&s!

I think OH is slowly clicking on to the fact im trying to be less messy and get rid of items. Hes also realised that I am trying my best at keeping the kitchen tidy too!

Also ive got no washing at all. Whenever I see the washing starting to pile up I put a load straight on and as we speak ive only got a few items on the airer thats nearly dry 😄

@vulpix - good luck with the surgery appointment. We have the same system unfortunately and it is quite a stressful way to try to make an appointment. I can’t complain though as at least we can speak to a human. Your procrastination activities still sound very attractive and productive! Hopefully that neckline isn’t haunting you and spoiling your enjoyment.

@Florenceem - I can just imagine how all that is going to disappear into your new storage. Definitely a lot of hard work ahead though! It will be satisfying to only end up with the things that reflect your crafting style now. I have been working towards this too and like the idea of other people making use of my redundant materials.

@Dizzycap - you are so right about the current very odd weather conditions. The wind is drying things out too so holding up the grass growing on the grazing around us. I’m glad babyface has you to care for her and give her happy days.

@Mrs_Salad_Dodger - it was a knitting, tv and comfort food weekend so not at all springlike really. Well done on another hat and scarf. I hope you are keeping a gallery of photos to look back on your makes.

As you can see there is a glitch in tagging people in my post. One of the many frustrations in the new format!

I had a very productive time with my cardigan and jumper sorting. Two cardigans which are now too snug to go in the CS bag. One missing button sewn on. There were two jumpers that I like but don’t wear anymore. They are too long for the kind of jeans that I wear now and one also had big trailing sleeves. I have shortened and removed the extra fabric from the sleeves and taken up the length to the high hip. It took me ages but I like it much better! I will shorten the other, hopefully today. Neither had ribbing so that made it possible to do. Two cardigans are on order as I had a decent voucher to use.

I hope everyone gets on okay this week. Hugs to anyone in need of them 💕

We are off to the post office today to renew our driving licences. Wish me luck with that. I am really not a fan of doing everything on line. They are pushing us all the time. I have just moved our old address book notes into a new one from stock and the amount of password ID stuff is jangling my brain. Decluttered securely😉

Campervan insurance renewal has come through and is over £100 cheaper. That's a great declutter of less money.

Decluttered some weeds and did a bit of pottering in the garden tidying the flower beds and seeing where I want to move stuff too or put in. Still have plants and bulbs in pots that are from parents house. They will be planted to ground soon near the glass sliding doors so can be seen in the spring time.

There are bits of old wiring coming out from the loft as new pieces get placed in there. I am still searching for an item from the loft to be brought down each time I go in there.

Morning all,

Hugs and love to all that need it this morning.

It's a lovely sunny day here.

After our morning walk I've noticed that Luna is getting a little bandage rash now so although I'm not 100% happy with her pad I'm going to keep her bandage free from now.

I'll just keep her on the lead until the weekend and she should be back to full fitness.

@2Scratters I had to do my driving licence renewal at the post office before Easter. Apart from being more costly, it was very smooth and it came back in the post quickly.

Phoned the surgery as the clock ticked onto 8 am, I was 7th in the queue. I have an appointment for next Monday.
