Dropped of a big bag of soft plastics at the SM today, I have been meaning to do it for ages but kept forgetting to put it in the car, it was just getting bigger in the dining room!
Still not sure what friend is doing but had permission to list some stuff on free cycle for her, some of it to be collect tomorrow the rest have had interest but haven't confirm pick up details yet so doesn't count until it leaves the house.
Added two of her handbags, a pair of shoes and a jacket to my CS bag and added six books to my own six books to go to CS rather than Petworth.Received my quote from the decorator for the lounge and dining room which also needs plastering (walls and ceilings) so there was some wincing when I opened the email 🫣. They are busy until September which gives me time to replace windows. It's going to be a spendy year 😳

Bluej, well done with your room of doom and your sleep score. I can only dream of a good sleep score.😂
I saved the bubble wrap the new radiator came in because you know and I have empty kitchen cupboards to keep it in. Pleasingly someone asked for large pieces of bubble wrap on fb for an art project. Saved it from landfill, or at least gave it another life before landfill.
The women are coming today to dig up and save more plants from the back garden.
The thing about waiting for trades is you have time to refine your ideas of what you want done. I have rethought where I want my as yet not purchased garden sheds and how I want to use them.
No sign of my builder but he will come eventually. I think it is about time the guy who is refurbishing the front door and building a new frame is due.

@vulpix - I know what you mean regarding sleep score! I remember your lovely friend bit_by_bit xx
@BlueJ94 - well done with your room of doom and the good sleep. Maybe the two are connected?
@florianatwobob - that’s good news regarding your sister and must be a big relief for you all 💐
@weenancyinAmerica - thank you for the advice, it seems to be working!
@Mrs_Salad_Dodger - you deserve a medal 🥇 for all the knitting for BHF 👏 Thank you for mine too 😊
@Florenceem - it really sounds like your craft room plans are coming together now. I had plastic bags disintegrate in the loft and it was such a mess to clear up. Hopefully you won’t get too many of those.
I finished altering the other jumper. It was more of a challenge than I expected but persistence paid off and it looks okay. It is a jumper for free anyway and I don’t suit all the oversized kind that are currently in fashion. Some financial frogs completed. Always difficult for me, as although we are okay now, the stress of the many years trying to make too little money go around has never left. I have some boxes to go through of admin to do with my volunteering. Not a joy to look forward to but I’ll crack on with it today as the weather isn’t nice. I still haven’t finished my 2nd craft project that requires completing so hopefully I’ll make a bit more progress with that too.
Stay warm everyone. It’s hard to believe it is the middle of April! Come on sunshine ☀️16 -
@Moorviews I didnt even think that! That could be possible, im also 10x more organised in the mornings and im making sure my washing is done and kitchen clean every single night!

Morning everyone, hugs to everyone who needs them
Yesterday I took the bag to the charity shop but I had to take the children books out as they aren't taking any, I will list on freegle later.
I do have one problem and it's that I can't stop buying diamond art in the last couple of days I have 3 new ones, so I don't need any more for a while.
It's going to be a rainy day here today but it looks better tomorrow so I will sort some washing out tonight.
I have some more things to list on vinted so that is the plan for later as well as some cleaning.

@vulpix When I had my sofa delivered last month it was wrapped in an eye popping amount of bubble wrap and corrugated card.
I rather fancied it for myself so as they removed it I mentioned they didn't have to do that, I would sort it.
They quite strongly said "Oh no we never do half a job madam" and took it away.
Just as well really I've nowhere to put it but old habits die hard 🤣

Morning all,
Called the garage as the new car has a slight rattle noise when sitting at idle so I'll pop back in with it next week so the mechanic can have a look. I have a 3 month warranty which is really good for a used car around here so we have some wiggle time to get it sorted it anything shows up.
I've got the guy coming to sort my boiler today, the CFS (call for service) light is on which he forgot to switch off after the service in February and the wireless thermostat isn't working. He's said he would come a couple times and not shown up so keeping everything crossed he shows! Why are some businesses so unreliable.
Work wise I'm very busy today, got a few meetings but I'm gonna go in and give the kitchen a quick clean before the next one at 10:30am.
Debt Free - 4th June 202514 -
I went to bed last night in some pain. Got woken up by pain and had to go downstairs for a new freezer pack.
J the builder just rang the bell before opening the porch door - to see his kneeling mat there. I am still in pjs and didn't want to answer the door but he apologised. At least he remembered to collect it today,
Today's plans - carry on with the job of bringing stuff down from the old office.
I may pop out to get some air as spent a day indoors yesterday. I did get 6000 steps done yesterday without leaving the house. I can only guess at the amount of times that I went up and down the stairs.
I may get one of the rainbow sets of drawers out of the garage and into my craft room. It looks like I only have floor space for one of them - I think I have 3 or 4.
I don't want my craft room to look untidy like it was - I will be brave and post before and after photos when I finish the job.
I am having the vertical blinds fitted on Friday afternoon - they are not cheap but I need to shade my room.
