Have started trying to tidy the room of doom that had all our holiday luggage dumped in it 2 weeks back when we returned from our jolly with a touch of covid. Big winter jacket put away (so glad I had it as we had a excursion on rough seas to the cliffs of insanity (aka the Cliffs of Moher), emptied the bags of dirty laundry, have put my clean clothes away (there's always bits you don't wear), and divided the laundry into piles and put one load in. It will all need to go on the rack indoors as the weather is a bit foul but that also paces things for me as I know it will take about 2 days to dry properly.
And about to empty the trash bins to the big bin out side as there was an over ripe orange in one of our bags that is now making the house a bit tangy - enough to make me cough again.

@ BlueJ94 - All round for breakfast at yours tomorrow and I'll being the coffee percolator 😉 along with a selection of fine teas 😘😂😂.
@Florenceem - LOVE the new sewing machine xxx I hope you get real pleasure from it with lots of interesting projects.
It's been a lovely couple of days here, although we've had 2 short blasts of heavy(ish) rain for 4-5 minutes with another on its way by the looks of it. Babyface is doing really well and as of Monday, she's almost back to her usual Missy, I'm into everything self. She's been out in the garden with me, digging & organising the gardening which she hasn't done or been interested in for well over 12 months. She's got all her babies out of her storage bin and sacttered them through the house 😂. Today we're back to the left front leg up for curiosity and right front leg up for frustration (@ me! 😂🤣). She's been for her usual morning walk complete with doggie trolly which she hardly used and she refuses to sleep more than 30 minutes at a time and boy can she snore and grunt when she does - Sounds like a full sleeping pig pen 😂😂😂.
I haven't managed to get any of the new plants in although I've prepared all the holes the gardener dug with well rotted manured, compost, and feed capsules, so once the plants are planted and watered, they can get on with it 😂 I have managed to plant up all the bulbs donated to me in planters etc ready for the Summer; like I don't have enough Summer plants 😂. I've spend some time in the garden this morning clearing & cleaning up along with feeding some other plants. I've got some mulch being delivered very soon ready for all the lillies which is a job I'm hoping to get done tomorrow as they were all well watered early this morning xxx. I've also got a home shopping delivery arriving between 5-6pm which I placed an order for 2 weeks ago 😂 - There's organised and then there's beyond crazy belief! 😂.
Off to get a well deserved large mug of coffee and a bite to eat before my deliveries arrive. Love to all & take care xxxx Toodle pip squeak for now xx

Well done everyone 😊
I need to make a decision about broadband / landline. I'm with Plusnet, who are no longering offer a landline-type service with the switch-off of the analogue landlines, and my contract ends in 3 weeks.
I've decided to stick with one provider for the BB and LL (rather than stay with them for BB and find a separate provider for phone calls), partly for ease and also because I will need to repeat the process for mum (at 200 miles' distance) later this year.
Have spent time this morning getting to grips with research and relevant factors (and not making any concrete decisions!).

@ Yorkie1 - Have looked at NOWTV? It's Sky but much cheaper 😉. I too have a BT landline, so it's not a problem keeping your old number and transferring over, along with super fast internet. Go through TopCashBack to place an order, and get a nice chunk of cashback too 😂😂. Alternatively, have a look at what's on offer through TopCashBack 🤗😉

I'mwe're flexible 😂😂🤣 xxxWould you Adam and Eve it!? The van carrying my lilly mulch arrived but the driver couldn't find my parcel. He got back in the van and drove off without so much as a sorry. Next thing the App updates with the usual "Sorry we missed you" rubbish. I've now had to chase it up with the courier and no doubt, the parcel won't be deliverd, as per last time 🤨🤔😮🤐. Oh, well my shopping has been delivered in full and babyface is now frustratingly waiting for the slow cooker to finish it's job and no one is getting in or out of the kitchen without they give her an update 😂😂🤣 - She's only just finished her dinner btw 🤗😚 Cheeky Minx 🤣 and the face 😂 That's my girl 😋😉

I'm surprised at Plusnet as they are the same company as ee and BT. I'm with ee and they are continuing with LLs via a plug in to the wifi thingme. (sorry to be so technical about it)

@Brie Indeed - clearly a decision has been made that PN will be the 'basic' supplier, despite it having the best customer service and reputation of the lot, and thus will not offer the landline.
EE is their suggested alternative, but there are anecdotal comments about the inability of their router to cope with existing phones (and extensions) being plugged into it via the technical wifi thingme ( 😁 ).
I'm also looking into Zen Internet, which would be OK for me, but more complicated for Mum later this year.
@Dizzycap good suggestion, but there's no way Mum would be able to cope with anything that different or new. 😑

@ Yorkie1 - the only difference is, a new plug in router and password for access. Everything else is sorted out by the suppliers their end with a confirmed switch date. My phone line and internet didn't switch off, they were just transferred.
