fab news for your sister floriana.x
I don't know what to say about bit by bit, just that I am very glad that we met through this thread and I am glad to have called her my friend. Mrs SD, I still cherish the embroidery. So unexpected and thoughtful.xxx
Floss, sounds good, though I can't walk very much these days.
A right result today. I posted free plants from the back garden on local fb. 2 young women came and dug up a gooseberry, a currant of some sort, the quince and some chives. These things will just be dug up to make room for sheds in the future. They are coming back Wednesday for more things. I am so pleased they will have a chance of a new home and not go to waste. They have started a community garden. We sat ages in the garden and had coffee in the sunshine. Oh , I also gave them a compost bag of plastic pots.
Mr V and I spent some time in the back garden tidying up and filling the car with previous owners broken stuff and a big plastic box of fire ash! He will go to the tip tomorrow. Rearranged some pots and that was enough when I fell over trying to pull a grim plastic bag of rancid soil out of an old chimney pot.

@Moorviews - I think I have figured out how to do it. Start with the @ sign and then wait until the Loading sign comes up and then slowly type in the first part of the name. Then click on the name. If you type too fast or try putting the name in first and then the @ sign, it won't work, and you will have to erase it all and start over.

Monday continued: went to clinic to book an appointment with the nurse for a blood test. No queue for receptionist & am booked in for 10:40 tomorrow. To say I am stunned is an understatement 😳 Popped across the road & bought a loaf of bread. Neighbour J was on the bus so we walked from the bus stop together - he was coming back from visiting his 90 year old mum. Out for just 35 minutes 😊 Just missed the rain which started 10 minutes after I got home (15:55) - but just the one short heavy shower. Dinner was lo cottage pie & broccoli for DH & me. DSis cooked herself poached eggs on toast. Wudupa.

Morning all.
I had pain when I went to bed and had to get up later for a different freezer pack. I will talk to the Doctor about it when I see her on Monday.
J is coming today - he said he will get the wall and fence done in one day.
I also want him to carry up stairs the box of Kalla. inserts that go in the spare unit.
Another job is to get the craft table out of the garage and back into it's place.
Hope everyone has a good day.

I had a lovely time last night at Harry Enfield. He was much better than I expected. I had a better sleep last night at the hotel then I have had in a few weeks. I feel quite motivated to get on with decluttering when I get home. I have two classes to go to today.
The view from my hotel.

That view is lovely @Wednesday2000 glad you enjoyed it.
I had my niece stay over last night which was nice. She was supposed to be going home tomorrow but had to take her home today as she was so sick! Just came on out of nowhere, she was puking into a carrier bag all the way home. Such a shame.
Fingers crossed it's not contagious!

J helped me to get the craft table out of the garage and back into the craft room. He also carried the box of Kalla. inserts upstairs.
He was here 4 hours painting the fence - took him longer than he thought. I said that was enough for today. We have plenty of time to get the wall painted before the summer house arrives. I think the fence will need a second coat - J didn't think so but it says on the paint bucket that it is better to do two coats.
The delivery of my table arrived - in boxes and the chap put it together. I have now more cardboard to get rid of on Friday. There is a bag of polystyrene - I will put it in the black rubbish bin - hopefully - not sure what space there is.
I have been up and down the stairs bringing stuff down and then sorting it into the units. Takes a while - still lots left to bring down. Some of the plastic had disintegrated so the hoover has been in action.

Tuesday, DH set his alarm & woke me up at 09:40, so I almost had enough time for a cup of tea before heading off - DH took me in the car. It is a gloriously sunny day with some fluffy white clouds in blue skies & a forecast high of 15°C (feeling just 1° cooler due to SSE changing to S breeze) & a low of 5°C I arrived on time for my appointment & was in & out in 5 minutes. The blood test results will be back in a week & then I will book appointment with the pharmacist. Left the surgery & caught the bus to DLR station & went into Lewisham. First stop was BHF - dropped off 22 knitted items - 14 hats; 2 scarves; 4 knitted bookmarks; matching hat & scarf set = 22 items (665 - 686) + treated myself to 2 books. Then into bank to get cash, followed by the card shop to purchase May to July inclusive birthday cards. Then into MrS to get ciggies & cash in my winning Christmas scratch card. I thought I had won £2 so instead bought a couple of scratch cards, only to discover that I had won £5, so am £3 richer than I thought 😊 Eventually got home 12:45. Made myself a cuppa & settled down to update my accounts including adding May & June’s 1p Savings Challenge amounts to my Terramundi pot. Also skim read & did the puzzles in 3 newspapers (687 - 689). DH mowed the back lawn which now looks a lot neater. Now 16:30 & feels decidedly chilly as the sun has vanished 😞 P.S. won a £1 from the 2 scratch cards 🙂
Florenceem, sorry to hear that you had another pain filled night 😔 Hopefully the doctor can offer you some treatment 🤞 You have another busy day planned for young J 😉
Wednesday2000, what a wonderful view from your hotel room 😍 Pleased to hear that you were pleasantly surprised by Harry Enfield 😊
Excellent decluttering Rootle 👏
_Dolly_Rocker_ sorry to hear that your niece was so unwell that she had to go home early 😔 Hopefully she will recover quickly & you won’t catch whatever it is🤞
Florenceem, sounds like everything is coming together nicely due to all the hard work by both you & young J 😓 More excellent decluttering 👏 I see that I have been a bit backward in making awards to you 😞 so a Gold Star ⭐️ is on its way 😊
Hope everyone has had as good a day as possible 😊

I managed to squeeze the bag of polystyrene into the bin - I will ask J to squash it down a bit when he is next here.
Made a dent in the stuff to come downstairs.
It doesn't look like a dry day here until Friday.
I had a day at home today. J the builder was meant to collect the kneeling mat that he left here yesterday - he forgot.
Decluttered - set of plastic drawers, paper, file folder, diamond painting left overs, labels, cigarette tin, curling ribbon reels x 2, ribbons, glass jar & lid, sewing pattern x 11.
