so the suspension spring had gone on my car. Should not be a surprise since the other side went six months ago. My lovely garage chap laughed at me because its been in the garage every week. I mentioned the heater wasn’t working. He came out and checked the coolant. That was fine. He sent me home to research the reasons the heater stops working. It’s pretty funny i come home from the garage with homework. Anyway, I decluttered £400 fixing the car that passed its MOT 2 weeks ago.

I've not really managed to get going post holiday but a few things done. DGCs decluttered to school and not back for a week so no excuses.
488-491 Four frogs decluttered plus lots of emails read, answered, deleted or saved
492 Bag of plastics dropped off at SM
493 DGS4's school shoes decluttered - I though they would last until end of term but side has split so feet no longer in shoes. Replaced with new ones from MrA.
494 Box of bits under the desk sorted and a bag of 'office supply' items into CS bag
495 Dress to CS bag - I think there are more things I will not wear which can go.
Sox brought me a rather cute sparrow this morning. It was flying around the lounge which he thought was great fun. Wrapped it in tea towel and released in garden - it flew away happily straight away. Meanwhile tabby down the road had caught a large pigeon which was sadly beyond help. He carried it off into the bushes over the road so Sox will probably come home with some of the feathers later.

@TC77 I try to make a conscious effort when moving about the house to always never go anywhere empty handed. It does move items around a lot quicker without realising the impact when they end up together. Then it makes is easier to either work with what you have or if too much helps make a decision of moving it out. Hope that helps.

I went in the garage as this is on my big to sort list this year.
As I am holding other people's stuff, it is hard for me to move things around. I did manage to bin three boxes, and I took the old microwave to the tip. I made some space by freeing up shelf space and putting things away. Once the items that don't belong to me are moved, I will have a lot more space to them move things where they should be.
Listed an item for free. Will see if that goes. It is already looking a whole lot better. I hope the people just move their stuff asap so I can sort my own stuff out.

Morning all.
I made a decision about which blind to have in my new lounge. This meant that I could decide on a paint colour which is now ordered.
I still have a lot of stuff to sort in the large ROD.
Going to have an early lunch then go out for cash and some ice cream - I think I can fit 2 flavours in my freezers.

Just caught up on lots of posts again
@Vulpix I wondered who was waving at me whizzing through N.Wales🙂
Yes please to any lap blankets for Ukraine, always much needed.Despite still being on bed rest, I am moving more and even left the house once……for a hospital appointment. I was tired just getting dressed…first time in 7 weeks but I managed to do it.
Getting bored now, shoeboxes coming in at the weekend so I will be able to start making up these which will tidy up some bags that just haven’t been put away but do contain lots of shoebox stuff.
I also have a lot of things to donate to the shoebox hub for local projects, physically cannot do it yet but hopefully when I can, I can also drop off any completed shoeboxes.

Yesterday’s post:
Wednesday: it rained overnight. Started bright with lots of sunshine but the sun has mostly disappeared this afternoon. High of 20°C (feeling 3° cooler due to brisk WSW wind) & a low of 13°C. DH left at 14:00 for a meet up with ex colleagues, so probably just DSis & I for dinner. I spent an hour or so dealing with personal finances having phoned the bank & paid CC bill. Tried to transfer some cash to my DB for his 65th birthday but despite having all his details the transfer wouldn’t go through 😖 I will have to check with DH as he recently made a successful transfer. Then as I was in the mood to continue paperwork, I wrote birthday cards for June & July. I was so engrossed that I didn’t notice it had been raining 😉 DSis had lo fish pie & I had the individual cottage pie. DH got home 21:30 & had definitely drunk too much as he fell asleep at his desk 😉 but has since gone to bed. Wu but left to dry for DSis to put away Thursday a.m.
