Hi,
Hope everyone is ok in the heat and going to be as cool as possible over the weekend.
Struggling as today resenting the time to declutter and not doing it except, reducing things trying to sell and then deciding they will go to CS so questioning why I can't just give to CS in the beginning, or feeling I need permission to pass things on. I want time to try hobbies etc. I think I'm abit down as I hurt my back a few months ago in a session with a trainer at the gym, purposely saying I didn't want heavy weights and given some right at the end when immediately I felt my arms were coming out of their sockets! It had been better when away as only walking around and not bending and twisting doing chores. Dr told me if I was 17 would be better now which is what physio had said but that being OLDer it will be much longer so just picked up different pain killers and other stuff prescribed. Sorry to moan as I know this is relatively minor but trying to understand my malaise.
In sewing we're trying sashiko - very basic and given homework and have admin to do so will try and motivate myself. Will report more positively next time….

@TC77 the lizards are a mix of metal, acrylic and ceramic.
Didn’t do anything today as hands too ouchy still. DH Decluttered five mugs woohoo! I sorted through his track pants and have two brand new pairs for Vinted plus some vest tops of mine which are too big now.
Not looking forward to the forecast heat. Air con is all set up ready….
Like others, I am not getting notifications either - must be a glitch.Enjoy your evening all, sweet dreams xx

Lots of stuff going down to the charity shop - my shopping trolley is loaded.

@TC77 would it be helpful if you were given permission to move things straight to the CS? It takes time, effort & energy to sell stuff, I recently deleted 3 boxes of things from Vinted & donated it as it was just too much for me.

@suzeesu2000 thanks , they are fab!
@floss, thanks , most things do go straight to the cs but realise some things i attribute too much value to some. I also realise i feel I should use up my stock of packaging.
Well done with the donations. I take a couple of bags a week at the moment and today came back with a coffee pot ( rare for me these days) It may only stay a while and I took it off and back on the shelf a few times :) it also reminded me that the cs need bubble wrap but probably not the other packaging..neighbours might though
I have things set aside for dd1 to check and if she doesn't want them they will go to cs and same for dd2 when she's home. Permission given with your help Floss to myself to give more straight to cs.
Bbq picked up - some success with freecycle
Party poppers binned
Papers recycled
Book and 2 glass bowls in cs bag
Fabric to cs bag
Have put bedding aside - i think unused single duvets etc but will count when they go out as they don't go to cs. I'm also trying to use up things which seem to have grow in stock - toiletries.

Just a quick update before I go to sleep . In the true spirit of redistribution. I have tackled my craft hamper box of card making stuff and made up 64 cards to sell for charity using card old birthday cards and envelopes as well as plastic bags. Refused to buy anything new so xutodd cards down to fit envelopes. 64 card made a very satisfying couple of days. 🙂

I've given excess toiletries and cleaning products to my local foodbank in the past to get them out of my home.
