Thursday has started quite bright but cloudy with the sun not expected to show its face until 17:00. The forecast is for a high of 22°C (feeling 2° cooler due a SSW wind) & a low of 12°C. Today is shopping day so I need to menu plan & write a shopping list.
As I have fallen behind with the cheerleading I will set a timer & crack on:
dND, so pleased to hear about your slight shift in ‘attitude’ ☺️ You definitely sound so much more relaxed 🥹 What a great result from your planting - your first strawberry 🤩😋 Love the picture of Gino 😍 I think sitting in the bucket is helping him plot his escape 🙊 More excellent work clearing the bramble 👏 a medal 🏅 is on its way. Fingers crossed that the assessor of the assessor & the technical surveyor finally give the go ahead for work to commence on your house 🤞 It is all very well making sure there is an accountability trail for government funded work BUT it seems like most of the funding gets eaten up before any actual work is done 😞 Thanks for the hugs 🤗
vulpix, fingers crossed that the weather gets better & you can spend at least a little time working in the back garden 🤞 Shame about your favourite mug 😔 being the curious ‘cat’ that I am, I am hoping you can share a photo of said mug 🙏
Steady decluttering TC77 👏
Nice to see you mehefin 👋 I love the typo “George Formby grill” 😂 Great decluttering of small/ish electricals 👏 It sounds like the plans & organisation of your DS’s nuptials is all coming together nicely & what a lovely surprise for the day 🥹 I am 100% with you that wedding toasts should be made with champagne 😊
Florenceem, pleased to hear that you had a pain free night ☺️ A bit more tweaking as to the timing of medication & hopefully there will be no more morning wooziness 🤞
regnbue, stunning photo 🤩 no wonder you had it enlarged & framed 🥹 Excellent numbers for February 👏 I hope you have set a reminder on your phone to “not buy any more cute bunny items” 🙊 Your March figures might show a bit of a slowdown BUT you have already sailed past your 100 target so a 2nd Gold Star ⭐️ is on its way 😊 Hopefully you will be able to donate a few/many more items to your friend 🤞especially as “He loves stuff.” 😉
DH has finally emerged 😉 Apparently whilst he was out he got a message from his youngest niece G saying that her DSis M had been admitted to hospital. As G is off on holiday on Saturday she requested that her uncle would keep in touch with M. DH is more than happy to oblige. There is an issue with M’s kidneys & she is alert & a bit annoyed that she is being kept in as a precaution whilst tests are run. I will stop here as I do need to write the menu plan & shopping list. Wishing everyone as good a day as possible 😊 👋

Back again: Menu plan & shopping list written. DH & DSis left 13:50. I will get back to the cheerleading & see how much of a dent I can make 🤞
regnbue, very impressive work in your RoD 🤩👏 You have made such a great start that I am awarding you a medal 🏅 to add to your growing list of awards ☺️ A pity about the phone charger but well done on your resourcefulness shopping from your supply of “cables & gubbins” 👏 Wow, Excellent & impressive decluttering in April 🤩 you are definitely on a roll especially as you doubled your items out tally 👏 Thhis of course means that TWO more Gold Stars ⭐️ ⭐️ are on their way ☺️ Good job I have plenty of them in my stash of awards 😉
Florenceem, what a gorgeous colour 😍 Good luck with the pricing 🍀 perhaps you could discuss this with your bestie 🤔
Brie, brilliant 🤩 describes me perfectly 🙊
Great decluttering Rootle 👏
Great work starting on the garden Soontobeoap 👏 Hopefully with DH joining in you will get three times the work done 🤞
Florenceem, another busy day yesterday with some great decluttering 👏 Fingers crossed for favourable results from your blood test 🤞
Excellent decluttering QueenJess 👏
Great work TC77 👏
Green_hopeful, not at all impressed with your garage 😞 Hopefully you won’t have any more trouble with your car 🤞
Good luck with your listings Willowtree222 🍀 Sounds like we need to send a delegation of Declutterati to ‘gently persuade’ your family members to actually remove their items from the garage 😉😉
Excellent work GrannyKate 👏 I have been rather remiss in making awards so here goes 😉 One Gold Star ⭐️ for 495/1526 & one Gold Star ⭐️ for 150/500. A lovely story about Sox who has earned a medal 🏅 for bringing you a live sparrow 🥹
2Scratters, thanks for reminding us of This “I try to make a conscious effort when moving about the house to always never go anywhere empty handed…….” 👏 A very useful tip & reminding us has earned you a medal 🏅
Willowtree222, an excellent start to your “Project Garage Declutter” 👏 Impressed that you are working around other people’s clutter so I am awarding you a medal 🏅 Do let us know if you need the ‘delegation of Declutterati’ 😉🙊
Florenceem, you certainly don’t hang about 🤩 When you mentioned ice cream I had a vision of you sitting at the harbour watching the boats & enjoying a 99 ice cream ☺️
Lovely to see you Happy_Kitties 👋 Sorry to hear that your recovery is going slower than you would wish 🥺 but please, please listen to your body 🙏 Hopefully you can enlist DD’s help with the shoeboxes 🤞 remember supervising is just as tiring as doing 🥹
Ta-da, all caught up & before DH & DSis get back 😊 I will see you all later 👋

Thanks. I have given them a week. Four years of storage for something that was a few weeks is more than kind from me. It has prevented me organising my own things and I am past this now.
