Although not progress as such, I have requested that everyone that has something in my garage removes it. That includes a slushy machine, a generator, beer making equipment and a large vinyl roll. That should clear a huge amount of space for me to sort.

(@regnbue - when I was traveling to find ancestors for people, I would make a lot of photographs of the area where they lived. Several of the people had the photos enlarged to go on their walls. Your pictures would be very nice enlarged to go on your walls too.)
When I first visited Savannah (my favourite place in the States) 15 years ago I stood in the middle of a road and took a photo of the rows of trees down both sides with the Spanish moss hanging off and the dappled sunshine shining through.
When I came home I went to Boots the Chemist and got it enlarged to poster size and it's hung in my lounge ever since. It's one of my favourite photos.
Now I use my phone instead of a camera and I don't know how I would go about making an enlargement but thank you for encouraging me. I will have a look into it, it's a good idea.

Morning all.
I had a pain free night but felt so woozy this morning.
Very overcast here - I hope to take my full shopping trolley to the charity shop without getting too wet.

@regnbue love the idea of the enlarged photo
@Florenceem glad you had a pain free night and the wooziness doesn't last too long.
@floss I bought lemons yesterday and have 2 halves in bathroom and kitchen and style of taps meant that I propped the lemon in with items in the sink rather than elastic band. Fingers crossed!
2 large fleece blankets to go to CS, and if they think not good as nearly summer will take to donation hub where always want warm things for people who are feel the cold/
3 items sold and packaged although all my neatly tidied packaging is now spread over the floor, looking for tissue paper, clear bags, right size boxes and packing peanuts - I love to over wrap things and use up stash. (will count as 6)
2 odd tupperware lids out
Found more bags/tins of buttons, and tin labelled pins with pins, paperclips and safety pins, along with a stash of nappy pins, and blanket/kilt pins - not sure if these are still used or why /how I have so many!

@regnbue - I agree Savannah is a favorite place in US. Stayed 3 days on last visit to US with late DH. Unpacking all done and washing completed but not all dry enough to put away yet. I will post some pictures once I download them from phone. Still a bit travel weary but my plan to do some gardening is washed out. Cat is very cross about the weather. I opened back door for him as well as his cat flap this morning - he spent some time staring at the rain then went to the front porch to see if the weather was different outside there. Now asleep on one of the beds. Paid some bills and did banking but plan to deal with frogs tomorrow as nothing else in diary. I went to dentist but need to go back in a fortnight as filling will need a longer time spot.
I have definitely decided to finish hall then take a few months off decorating. Perhaps get the lounge sorted in the Autumn and then plan to do bathroom early next year. I want to work on garden - DS2 has started digging out an obstinate conifer root which is in the way of an area I want to gravel alongside drive - to give walking space when cars are on drive. DS2 has several boxes of stones spare which will probably be almost enough for the pathway.

Taken stuff to the charity shop.
Weather was rotten - the street leading to the harbour was like a wind tunnel.
Heating went on and a pot of tea made - just had a yummy M & . blackcurrant sundae. Eating chocolate while my cup of tea cools enough to drink.

No builders today, too wet. They are out n about picking up supplies. The huge, very thick York stone slabs are taking a long time to lay but are looking like they have always been there which is my aim. I have changed my mind about hoggin, I am going to have pink tones gravel instead. Hoggin is too yellow for this pink and purple garden. Sadly the garden won't be finished this week. I was hoping it would all be done and planted up for the Bank Holiday when we have family coming to stay.
I am almost happy with my furniture change round.I don't have a lot of ornaments but I need to have a change round of them too. Loving the old sewing machine table in the front bedroom.
I have decided that once the front garden is finished we will take the patio doors off the porch. Currently a lot of the plants I have bought are living in there. Some are on the drive and some are in a washing up bowl near the patio doors in the dining room. Next door have the original recessed front door and though our arrangement is practical it won't win any beauty competitions.
Craft club shortly. Currently I am knitting a rainbow wool blanket.

Hello all,
Attempting to catch up a bit - so many posts to read.
@Florenceem - the summerhouse is lovely!
Hugs to all that need them.
I'm going to get the kitchen tidied between work and meetings today. Load of washing just about ready to come out of the machine.
Weather is awful so will be hung in the dining room with the dehumidifier on.
Debt Free - 4th June 202512 -
I have 2 buckets of freegled plants cluttering the car port which I need to get into the garden.
(hangs head in shame as just because it's free doesn't make it easy)
