Excellent work GrannyKate 👏 I have been rather remiss in making awards so here goes 😉 One Gold Star ⭐️ for 495/1526 & one Gold Star ⭐️ for 150/500. A lovely story about Sox who has earned a medal 🏅 for bringing you a live sparrow 🥹

Thanks. I have given them a week. Four years of storage for something that was a few weeks is more than kind from me. It has prevented me organising my own things and I am past this now.

So pleased with the work in the garden today all bushes have been cut back quite dramatically. Even found one that I had forgotten I had and it's only a small plot. DH strimmed the grass and we now have a huge container filled with garden rubbish for the tip. It is amazing how much better the garden looks already! No longer overwhelming! Now the sunshine is out I will be out there doing a little bit more tomorrow.

The lizard wall is done. DH showed me how to use his drill so I did it myself, killed my arthritic hands but, yay me, I did it! I did suffer after though. Poor old DH couldn’t do it as he has been in so much pain with his back this week, that’s what comes of being injured so many times playing rugby and doing very hard physical jobs. My next job is to cut up a lot of old hard plastic containers, all broken and damaged, they can then fit into a big broken tote, the big black storage doings will be sorted over the weekend and anything which doesn’t fit in the new much smaller one will be binned. Then I can give the yard a good sweep clean and cross it off my list. Not looking forward to the forecast mini heatwave though.

A few bits done today but some extra naps as well. Thanks for the stars and the medal which I will accept on Sox's behalf Mrs SD. I did get out in the garden for a while and started the hedge trimming alongside the drive - trimmer ran out of power but DS2 has found the charger now so powered up ready to use tomorrow. I planted some tomatoes into gro-bags I had already set out in greenhouse with framework to grow up - I really struggled to get down on the ground to do that and then I had to get up. Cucumbers, peppers and courgettes also planted out and some weeding done. One more frog sorted - I will have AGM minutes to type up tomorrow. Visited hairdresser.
First June birthday card bought (1 June birthday) but I need 6 more for later in the month. I had email to say they are sending £50 Amazon voucher I was missing from my bank account swap back in February.
496 Veggies planted out
497 Weeding done and into recycling
498 Another bag of plastics to SM
499 First section of hedge trimmed

MrsSD - I haven't managed to go for a whipped ice cream on my own as I was always with Mr F when we got one.
suzeesu2000 - that lizard wall is stunning - love it.
Heard from Nationwide that they are giving account holders £100 again this year.
Decided not to go for cash - just got a bus to get ice cream. I had a yummy bowl of mint choc chip with a sliced banana on top and topped with a generous amount of golden syrup.
I did some tidying/sorting in the craft storage room. Then tackled some bits in the new lounge.
I have started to fill my shopping trolley for the charity shop. I have 3 bags ready for bestie's charity shop. Bestie is away this weekend - I will phone someone about a lift to Church.
I have started on the second black glove. I may do one more pair then start on a new project.

Wow, @suzeesu2000 that wall is amazing. I think my favourite is the one near the top left, with multi coloured body and legs, and a mainly blue head. I have a lizard in turquoise; I don't think it's the same shape as any of yours, but it's keeping the door handles together on a small cupboard in my hall.
Feeling quite burnt out with a current work project (lots of thinking and research needed). So not much else has happened. But I have a week off coming up so that should help.
@Mrs_Salad_Dodger I try to keep in mind your "Don’t put it down, put it away + deal with mini tasks as soon as they are noticed" - or the first bit at least. The stairs are used to put things to go upstairs, and I have managed to take them up within a day for a week or more now.
I've also managed to keep my worktop free for two days on the trot. It sounds silly, and it's a really small space (2-3' wide) but it's the only space in the kitchen. It's such a lovely feeling to go into the kitchen and see a clear space in front of me.
All very slow progress, but motivating nevertheless.

@Florenceem I like honeycomb icecream with a banana & chocolate sauce 😊

@2scratters , thank you a good reminder..I do put things at the top and bottom of the stairs to take down or up and try and take things out of a room.but there are things that ha e become invisible or I forget. Or I try to take too much and have incidents such as the yogurt incident or spill my tea while carrying numerous things and then have to clear up.
Hoping neighbour will come round Monday as the house is chaos despite my efforts and still in the getting worse before better stage.
As always eclectic decluttering . Found some old party poppers, tried one - a loud noise, black smoke and then saw the streamers attached to me - clearly not to be passed on apparently you soak in water for 24- 47 hours and can then go in usual rubbish. Will count tomorrow.
Ood food, dried up paint, papers, and some decluttering on laptop x 2 and garden x 2

A couple.of items from shed put on free sites and duvet put aside for donation hub..have no single beds but many single duvets. Count when out!
Will try and make a plan for the long weekend.
