Took donations to the charity shop. Came home and did some housework. I have already filled my shopping trolley ready for Monday.
I have the best bestie. Her husband just delivered a pot of HM shepherd's pie.

Art class today so I decluttered some white paint on to my lovely bright orange hoodie. Last evening while getting ready for the class I found 2 painting done on holiday which didn't deserve to be saved so they were binned.
Meanwhile I keep finding bras that are the wrong size and so they keep being added to the charity bag. Probably have another dozen or more - all lovely cotton ones that I get in Canada in every colour - one of those little joys in life to match the bra to the shirt colour. The charity bag is almost full so when I know I'm going past a shop I'll ensure I've got it in the car with me, maybe along with more of the stuff sitting in the car port. Small victories!!

Hello everybody
I'm just back from a once in a lifetime trip for my big birthday next month. It was 28 degrees so now have the heated overblanket on, and wearing two jumpers, ready to read up on 13 pages of decluttering.
I have replenished the hugs bucket for anyone struggling. I really must list numbers for this year - I am woefully behind on that.
Meanwhile some pix of wonderful Mauritius - view from hotel room, nearest bay, giant tortoise and Pamplemousses Botanical Gardens (home to palm trees and giant water lillies).

@Brie in admiration of matching underwear with clothes, if I can co-ordinate outerwear and match socks its a win :)
Shame about your hoodie and hope the paint comes out.
Spring cleaning the dining room, didn't mean to but found my fab long handled microfiber brush and stated at cornice and then remembered proper way to clean from top down and have lots of places for dust, with picture rail, pictures and skirting. Will report back later

My first visitor this afternoon was my youngest daughter - she looked at the summer house and the decorated rooms. Then she went to drive back to Greenwich.
Next came my middle daughter and granddaughter - bought me loose tea - I do have some in the garage - somewhere. They looked at the summer house.
I have decided that there is no way I can get the large ROD ready for Tuesday - too stressful to attempt it. J will be on half term holiday the week after next so he will decorate for me then.
I found more bits for the school's crafts cupboards so they have gone from the hall way.

Ooh how exciting (if it's not too wet or cold)!

little unit now in bedroom. Fits just nice and matches rest of furniture.
Broke all the cardboard boxes down and slid them behind pantry shelves. Some were unusable so they were torn up and into recycling bin.Green onion tops had frozen nicely so they were taken out of the ice cube tray and into a bag with the others. The mushrooms I froze look just like the supermarket ones.
Took 2 crusty rolls and a pack of bacon out of freezer for dinner - rally fancy bacon rolls. And yes, they were lovely. DH also had dinner room freezer.
Busy start to day, deep cleaned bathroom. Gave the end of the cold tap a good going over with the pumice stone, I keep doing a bit and nearly all the limescale is gone now. I even washed the little brown plant pots, which was good timing as the small bag of compost came this afternoon.Am keeping up with decluttering the emails as they are opened and read.
So long as it doesn’t rain in the morning, DH is going to help do my lizard wall tomorrow, fingers crossed. I’m looking at how best to cut up some old broken plastic containers to go in recycling. Think I need to get blades for the jigsaw.Have a good night all, sweet dreams xx
