Morning all. Another night where pain woke me up after stopping me from going off to sleep easily.
Dull day here. Rain is forecast.
I took my shopping trolley full of donations to the charity shop in town. Came home and have filled it ready for tomorrow.
I started knitting a glove using a solid colour yarn last night.

Evening all
Limited decluttering but I saw some friends over the weekend, which is a nice change. About to do my weekly online exercise class. I agree about the Pentecost colours, @Florenceem !

I got some stuff out of the garage to sort.
Bestie came for me and we went to M & S cafe - met another SA friend - we all had yummy rainbow cake.
Came home and got ready to go to see the Doctor.
I am having a blood test to check my thyroid. Dr is referring me back to gynae. Dr said I can take more of the night medication - gave me a prescription which I got filled at the nearby pharmacy. She didn't give me any stronger painkillers - just said to take paracetamol and co codamol.
I will book the blood test at the hospital as there is a 3 week wait at the surgery.
I go back to see the Dr in 4 weeks.
I was weighed and had put on some weight.

Decluttered bag of chicken from freezer for dinner in slow cooker. Tomorrow I’m making savoury mince and hopefully will be enough left over for a shepherds pie.
Sold on Vinted this morning, posted at lunchtime.
DH couldn’t do the wall today as it’s been raining on and off. I started laundry and drying on the airers, should be dry by the morning.
Ordered a pack of blades for the jigsaw, got to cut some hard plastic up so it can go in recycling.Hope everyone’s had a good day, have a good night, sweet dreams xx

Evening everyone.
Apologies for being awol again.
I've managed to declutter several t-shirts into a pile for the charity shop, plus re-home 4 large glasses, approx 8 storage bags, 2 bath towels plus 4 of each of pasta and cereal bowls, 4large and 4 small plates.
Plus have had birthday presents go out too.
I succumbed to 8 second hand books in an English heritage 2nd hand bookshop and a charity shop, plus have 6 plants. 2 are sedums, 1 from my mum's garden, plus 2 hardy geraniums I bought, 1 I've been given and I forget what the other plant is. The geraniums will be put out once I've made the bed for them.
Apologies if I've repeated whats gone out.
I've birthday presents coming in for my sister, but they will obviously go out.

Mid century drawers listed this morning and collected at 2:30. I will spend the money on plants.
I have rejigged some furniture downstairs. The oak drawers are now in the hall and the old sewing machine table is in the big spare room. The bookcase from there is now in the bathroom and the old school chair with a big plant on is currently on the landing. The chair will go in the small spare room and the massive plant can have a turn in the dining room! Are you keeping up? Fluffy always takes it upon herself to check out any changes in the house, she is most particular that way!
We are going to Oxfordshire Thursday to baby sit Friday from 7am. DIL has got a days consultancy. First time I will have baby sat the baby! Plus I didn't know there were were two seven O'clocks in a day.

I am still working on the garage of doom. I didn’t start until after dinner but kept going until 2130. I offered several curtain poles, fixings and rings to the homeless charity.
I fixed a Stolmen ikea pole so i can put it on ebay. Bit of a farce but its an extending pole and it’s well known for the inner pole to fall inside and get stuck. I managed to get it out with a broomstick and quite a lot of double sided tape. Pleased i managed. They make great cat climbing poles. We made one for our cats so i can sell the others.
I went through a couple of electrical boxes. Oh my goodness what a lot of junk. About 50 plugs and adapters and timers. I put most of them together in a box. My husband can pick out any he wants and the rest can go. I got a box of small electrical recycling and another box of rubbish still more to sort. It’s funny because I am sure we went through it last year. Fresh eyes and i see more junk.
Flipping mini is broken again. Looks like passenger front suspension has gone. I don’t think the spring has broken this time. I am going to ring the rescue people to look at it tomorrow. I have booked it into the garage aka my second home on Wednesday. That will involve my decluttering a shed load more money.

Monday was another overcast day with a forecast high of 15°C (feeling 4° colder due to a SW wind) & a low of 8°C DSis left at 13:00 for an appointment at the hairdressers. She came back very happy as she had a free hair cut as a reward for a certain number of visits ☺️ Dinner from the chippy - fish for DH, sausages for DSis & a meat pie for me. Wudupa. Rained about 23:30 & then more showers after midnight.

Although not progress as such, I have requested that everyone that has something in my garage removes it. That includes a slushy machine, a generator, beer making equipment and a large vinyl roll. That should clear a huge amount of space for me to sort.
