Helloooooo! Remember me? The medical disaster? Back again! I have just caught upon all the posts. So nice to see you Dizzy and gentle cwtches to madam.
Florence you are always in my thoughts especially when I see how much you are doing and I’ll add to what others have said….EAT! I know you like to keep busy but please be gentle with yourself and take it steady.Hubby has decluttered A Lot and I have done chunks too. To be honest I felt so behind with numbers and updating I think that’s why I stopped posting. And what with the 26 for 2026 I wasn’t enjoying any of it. So I’ve decided to stop counting! My life is full of good days and bad days medically without trying to do KPIs as well. I will miss my stars but Ho hum.
Garden is starting to come together, getting rid of ivy and brambles and also been putting down cardboard then mulch on top. I think it will take a year before I can actually plant stuff but that’s fine. It all needs TLC.
Rogan was in the wars bless him-snarling altercation between him and next doors 3 small yappy things and I think he ran into the fence. Anyway he came in with blood all over his nose. Some scratches so it looked worse than it was but one of his top teeth got all wobbly and fell out after 2 days. He was like a child not quite brave enough to yank it out 😂 the gum has healed well thankfully.I’ve done more baking which turned out really well especially a bacon and egg pie which was yummy 😋
Can’t think of anything else now! Expect I will just before I go to sleep.
Take care all xxxxx

@ Muddy_Walker - Super to see you! I was just thinking about you the other day and was wondering how things were going and if Rogan's paw had healed, but it seems he's decided to try and break his nose instead 😮🤣😂. Babyface hates yappy dogs and takes about 5 minutes of Charlie 3 doors down in the morning when she's sitting in the garden before she lets out one sharp deep annoyed bark; sounds like a seriously disgruntled adult Rottweiler, and silence ensues 😂🤣🤣.
I just popped in for a few moments to get a little sanity before I pop off to bed. Babyface's blood test results came back very good, but there are future health complications which have already begun, so tomotrrow morning I'm going off to see a Vet whom I know well but who hasn't treated babyface for a second opinion regarding her future and her reduced quality of life - It will be a very difficult conversation, but necessary for fairness to her.
Anyway, I need to pop off to bed as I need to be up at 4am to get babyface sorted, all her food cooked, the washing done, and a little gardening before we go off for babyface's 9.15am appointment. Fortunately, the gardening is coming tomorrow at 2pm to cut the lawn and do a few important bits that need doing before it's going to rain around 4pm - Talk about cutting it a little close 😂🤣
Take care all & tat-ta for now - Sleep well & sweet dreams to all xxxxx

Muddy, I stopped counting though I do still say when I de clutter anything over and above household bins and recycling, It's all about what works for us. Poor old Rogan, such a squishy boy.♥️
Small bedside drawers given to DD2. The dining room is looking quite tidy, just a massive oak door in there to go now. Oh and a massive oak fire surround and bags and bags of fire wood. But that is an improvement.
You are going to be very smart Florenceem. You and your Grandson are a good team.
Deb4, when it was Mr V's 60th I ordered some Forest cup cake toppers from I think it was ebay. They were quite effective.
Made myself do the neckband on a knitted jumper, get no pleasure from that. Got another to do before I start sewing. I would put it off for ever otherwise. Saw a meme today about sewing but it can be applied to anything. The first 6 hours of a 45 minute diy project are the worst!
Some sleep last night , but not enough.
Plan for today is for us to pick up with the house snagging list. First one is do something about a big dirty, rusty light fitting that fell down from under the kitchen wall cabinets last night. I would like to put up a little shelf on the stairs for my collection of 60's bubble glass bud vases. I have 2 collections that are complete. The bubble vases and the 1960's mouse in an object ornaments. I would easily get carried away with collections if I let myself.

Morning all. Busy day ahead then heading for airport in early hours. I have a zoom meeting at 7.30pm so probably need to have a nap this afternoon. Noticed yesterday that road to cattery is closed for roadworks so looks like I'll have to go via a 3 mile diversion. Sox was very friendly last night so I feel a bit guilty about taking him there but he should be safe and well cared for. First job is hairdressers at 9 so I had better get a shower and get dressed.
410 Loads of papers sorted through and most into recycling (I probably kept about 10 out of 200 or so)
411 Trip to recycling with items already counted plus some plasterboard and leftovers from carpet fitter

Dizzycap - thinking of you and Babyface.
I had a night with no pain! First for absolutely ages. I slept after the alarm but still feel groggy this morning.
Chiller start to the day here.
Worried about my bestie - there are always messages from her when I get up - nothing today.
My plan of action is to remove the masking tape and then sweep the floor. Not heard from J the builder.
I do need to pop out to the blinds shop and declutter some money.
Hope everyone has a good day.
