I'm in. I had a little cold the past few days, but have woken up feeling much better today and it is a beautiful, crisp and sunny day here in Leigh-on-sea.

I have had a hot shower and then done two loads of laundry and vacuumed. We just moved the big kitchen shelf into the living room to make space as we are getting an electrician round this week so I can finally have a socket for a tumble dryer. 

I got my advent calendar out ready for tomorrow, I have an Ombar chocolate one this year. I did look for a jewelry box in the charity shops last week, but I couldn't find one so I have ordered one from Amazon. I don't have a lot of jewelry, but I want to make sure I wear what I have.

I'm definitely up for this. I've started early and instead of being in my usual jeans and jumper I've put a (very comfy) dress on and a big flowery statement necklace. DH just said he liked the necklace and I honestly can't remember the last time I wore it. It's such a nice idea to make yourself feel special with things you already have.

At work we support a food bank close to where we’re based so I’ve decided to do a reverse advent calendar until I break up for Christmas. I’m aiming for donating one item a day from tomorrow until I break up on 19 December. We’ve been told people from our office give more donations combined than the large supermarket chains, isn’t that brilliant 🙂

I think this is a lovely idea. I am going to watch with interest and maybe experiment a bit and see what brings me joy.

I had forgotten it is 1st tomorrow, and for the first time ever have not bought basic chocolate calendars for the DC.  It'll be interesting to see if they notice and comment actually.

Forgot to say, also in the spirit of advent, I’m starting Get Fit With Rick’s advent challenge tomorrow, 24 workouts in 24 days plus I’ll be wearing my Christmas jumpers and earrings to the office the days I’m in. Let’s do this 💪 🤣
