Another busy week at work and I even lost my temper at one point, slamming an office door as I stormed out 😬 Was being completely ignored about something and got sick of repeating myself, so decided to leave in a slightly dramatic way 🤣 Thankfully, no one said anything about it and I didn't get in trouble, but I must learn to stay frosty!
Cleaning jobs everyday this week which has been tiring, but the extra money was needed for the washing machine we will be buying off the seller of our new house. That's now in an envelope ready for me to pop round to him at some point. DH told me not to give it to him too soon in case he runs off with it and the washing machine 🤣
We've been to town today and I have bought a new bicycle! I had a look on faceache marketplace, but unfortunately it was slim pickings round these parts and nothing suitable, so off to halfords we went. Luckily, I've managed to get a bargain at £101. I'm having a basket, mudguards, lights and lock fitted to it, so in total £160 spent. I'm quite pleased with that really. We're going to pick it up tomorrow morning and my dad has said I can keep it in his shed until we move.
The move seems to have slowed, I guess they're all doing their thing with searches and checks etc, so it's just a waiting game now. Not one I'm very good at! I've packed up a couple more boxes ready to go to my grandads out of the way.
Dog 3 had to go for a scan this week which revealed she has arthritis in her elbow. They're getting a double check from a specialist radiologist and then we will talk treatment. They're claiming the money through the insurance but the excess and 20% of the bill still cost us £600! Blooming animals!
On the plus side this week, Eon emailed said they're lowering the dd by £20 as we're not using as much energy as they thought we would 🙄 Shocker!
Have a good weekend all x

Just catching up Jessy, glad the move is moving along slowly (I hate the part where you just have to wait...I'm so impatient 🙈). How exciting to think you'll be in your new home by spring though!
Enjoy your new bike. I need a new one, I've barely used my bike since I bought a new one. It was second hand to me and it's too tall. I can't reach the floor and I nearly fell off twice and then I just put it in the shed and forgot about it...I really should get a smaller one so I can get out on it for some exercise a bit more. 🚲

This week has not been a good one, unfortunately. Sunday night/Monday morning I was sick and had Monday and Tuesday off with a bug. I went back to work Wednesday still feeling a bit rough but managed OK. Woke up Thursday morning and my eyes had all swollen up, so I ended up taking Thursday and Friday as holiday. After a visit to the doctor and opticians, I've been told i have infected glands in my eyelids. I suffer from Blepharitis, which is where your glands don't work properly and don't produce enough moisture to keep your eyes clean. I manage this on a daily basis but the stomach bug had left my immune system messed up and open to infection. I have eye washes and drops to help get over the infection, but have been referred to the eye clinic at the local hospital for a consultation. I had surgery on the glands on my eyes when I was 17/18, so I may have to again 😔 I'm now going to have to take more time off work as my eyelids are so swollen that it is pushing on my actual eyes and making my vision a little blurry so I can't concentrate on my computer and I also work in a timber factory so the dust could irritate them and make them worse. Blooming nightmare!
On the plus side I got asked yesterday if we want to complete the selling of our little place on 6th March!! 😱 Erm... its a bit short notice! We are now aiming to complete Friday 13th March instead. My nan's birthday was 13th March, so I'm taking it as a good omen 🙂

Oh no that sounds awful both the big and your eyes, and very painful? I hope you can get It sorted soon.
That move date is getting closer and closer 😱 can't believe how quickly it's all been done (or does it just seem that way from an outsiders view)
